Monday morning- I finally get to meet the Smosh and Smosh Games crew! Mari is so lucky to get to work with those guys every day. Every since I started devotedly watching YouTube, it's truly been a dream of mine to meet them: Anthony, Ian, Lasercorn, Joven, Wes, Sohinki, Flitz... And of course Mari, but we are practically sisters anyway. We were really close before she left, so hopefully we can get that relationship back.

Anyway, now I'm just daydreaming about what is soon to be my reality. I jump out of bed and complete my usual morning ritual. I then head over to my closet and pick out a high-low blue shirt and white jeans. I top off the outfit with black converse and my favorite pearl studs. I didn't look too dressy for the day, but I did look pretty good. By now it was 8:20, and I promised Mari that I would be at her house by 9:00 so we could go to headquarters together. I quickly made myself some waffles with the leftover batter from yesterday. I grabbed my purse and keys, still eating a waffle, as I locked my front door and headed to Mari's house.

I get to my cousin's house by 8:55, which means that we get to HQ a little bit early (not that there are any problems with that). Mari debriefed me in the car: She had already let the guys know that I was coming with her today, and they were all just as excited as I was, apparently. Since we talked the whole way there, it didn't take long for Mari and me to get to the place, and before we got out of the car, she said:

"Remember, (Y/N)... Don't be too amazing, or you'll have all the guys drooling."

I giggled and said, "Gotcha. Be an awful person." Mari and I were laughing as we entered the building, just joking around and having fun. It felt like before Mari moved to L.A., just like when we were super close.

I got to the door to the Game Bang room and took a deep breath. I'm kind of scared, and I think Mari could tell.

"Don't worry, (Y/N)! The Smosh Games guys will love you, in more ways than one." I laughed, and Mari opened the door. 

"Hey, guys," Mari greeted them nonchalantly.

"Hi, everyone." I say. Seven heads swivel in our direction.

"Hey Mari." All of the guys say.

Mari introduces me: "This is my cousin, (Y/N)."

Each person gives me their own version of 'nice to meet you', and I waved and smiled to all of them in general.

"Hey," Joven speaks up. "We were playing Just Dance before you guys came, you want to join in?"

"Sure!" Mari and I say in unison. Mari flashes me a reassuring smile as we walk over to everyone. Each person was sitting in some kind of chair, and Mari plopped down into an empty beanbag. I looked around for a chair, but then I heard someone say,

"Here, (Y/N), take my chair." I turn around to find Anthony standing up next to a fluffy chair.

"Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded, and said,

"Definitely. I'm next in line, anyway." I thanked Anthony and took a seat. All eyes were on me, and I felt strange with all of this attention on me. I'm not used to it...

"So, (Y/N)," Flitz say, "Tell us something about you."

"Well, I'm Mari's cousin, obviously. I like to dance and sing, and I adore video games."

"Video games!" Lasercorn exclaimed. "Mari, your cousin is already awesome." I smile at his compliment.

"(Y/N), what's your favorite game?" Joven asks me.

"Favorite game... That's a difficult question. I'd have to say most Nintendo games, I really enjoy." Anthony cheered from his mini- dance floor, saying,
