I walk into HQ, still thinking about what Mari had told me last night-
'On behalf of all of us, come back to HQ tomorrow, okay? We all want to ask you something as a group.'
Well, I guess I'll be finding out in a few minutes.
When I reached the recording room at the end of the hall, I took a deep breath and opened the door.
"(Y/N)!" Everyone greeted me excitedly.
"Please, take a seat." Anthony said, jumping up from his blue beanbag and sitting on the ground near it.
"Thank you, Anthony! How are you all?" Everyone answered with their own version of 'Pretty good' and the room fell silent.
"Um, I don't know how to begin..." Ian started.
"I do." Lasercorn spoke up. "I'm going to be up front with you, (Y/N). How would you like to become part of the Smosh Games family? Permanently." I just stared at each person in the room- Lasercorn, Anthony, Mari, Joven, Sohinki, Flitz, Wes, Ian.
"Are you serious?" I asked everyone and no one in particular.
"Yes, we're serious! Everyone wants to see more of you! And that means that you join the family, if you so choose." Mari spoke up.
"Well, um..." I smirked, feigning uncertainty,
"You don't have to answer right away..." Ian began.
"I ALREADY HAVE AN ANSWER!" I yelled, suddenly excited.
"THEN WHAT'S YOUR ANSWER?" Joven yelled.
"MY ANSWER IS HECK YEAH I'LL JOIN THE FAMILY!" I yelled with a huge smile on my face.
"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!" Cheers filled the room, and smiles made their way onto everyone's faces.
"THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION! CAKE AND GAMES!" Lasercorn yelled. More cheers filled the room, and Wes produced a giant vanilla cake with (Fave Color) icing. It had a lot of Nintendo game logos on it, Smash Bros being in the center. In the middle, icing spelled out,
'WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, (Y/N)!"
"We even got you vanilla cake, your favorite!" Sohinki commented as he gave us each a huge slice of cake on paper plates.
"How'd you know that was my favorite?" I inquired. Sohinki shrugged and said,
"I don't know. Anthony ordered it." I turned to Anthony and asked the same thing, and he said,
"I just asked Mari. She knew!" A smile broke out onto my face once more, and we all talked and laughed until all the cake was gone. Once we had cleaned up, Ian yelled,
"To the games! In honor of you, (Y/N), we're playing every Nintendo game we have!" I cheered, and then Joven said,
"After games... It's initiation time. And it'll be recorded!" Everyone expected me to freak out, but I knew that was coming.
"No matter! I'm about to cream you all in Smash Bros! So get ready!" We all spent the next hour playing any Nintendo game you can think of- if it had Mario or Luigi in it, we probably played it.
*Anthony's POV*
"Now," I said eerily, "Initiation time." I smirked at (Y/N), who suddenly looked nervous. We are already recording, so all of this is going up on the channel.
"What's my initiation?" She asked. "Must I sing?"
Wes laughed and said, "Oh, sing the Smash Rap from the Shut Up! and Listen album! Then sing Shut Up and Dance With Me!" We all cracked up as she rapped every lyric perfectly, then sang the song beautifully. Her voice is amazing. She even performed for us and the audience, taking one of Flitz's hats for the rap and grabbing a fake microphone. After she was done she said,
