When they get back from the boat, Gerard is being carried bridal style, curled up in Frank's arms.
Gerard's phone rings and Frank answers it for him, checking the caller ID before putting it to his ear.
"Hey Mrs Way, it's Frank."
"Hey honey, where's Gee?"
"Sleeping."
"Well, when you two better get back soon because I want to thank you two in person. Have you seen the news?" Frank is confused, readjusting Gee in his arms before answering.
"No, should I watch it now?"
"Yes, I'll see you Sunday night."
"Bye."
"Bye, Hun."
Don shows them the room the boys will be sharing before they all settle on the couch turn on the news. Gerard pops up on the screen. Everyone is silent, listening to what is said.
Frank recognizes the interview as the first one they did, just outside he plane. Here the anchor's suit looks shiner and Gerard more tired under his sunglasses.
Frank looks around, to his sleeping mate in his arms, the TV, and the people seeing how amazing Gee is for the first time in a while.
When Frank looks back up, he is met with shock. Thousands of people stand outside the White House, holding signs and chanting the same thing.
"Some are not human but, we are all people!"
A news reporter narrates but, Frank doesn't hear it. People listened and people are agreeing with what he and his friends have been saying for all these years.
