"Signs?"

"Check."

"Mega phone?"

"Check."

"Phone?"

"You're holding it."

"Charger?"

"Check."

Gerard looks up from the messy scrawl of a list he wrote.

"We're ready."

Gerard sits next to Elena in the car while Frank, Mikey, and Ray sit in the back row. It's nine o'clock in the morning and the group is waiting in traffic to get to Times Square. Gerard turns in his seat to face the back of the car.

"Okay, let's go over this one last time. Ray, you will be giving out signs as we walk. You will not leave the group." Ray nods, looking to the trunk of the car where a giant pile of signs rest. "Frank you're my camera man. Don't stray from the group."

"I wouldn't dream of it." Frank wants to roll his eyes. But, last time he did that, he got sassed.

"And Mikey, what are you going to be doing?"
Gerard's younger brother rolls his eyes.

"I will be holding my sign and not leaving under any circumstances." Gerard nods, turning back to stare at the bumper of the car in front of them.

Elena turns into the Mc Donald's outside Times Square.

"Now," She starts. "I will be back here at midnight. If you boys aren't here. What's going to happen?"

"They'll be hell to pay." They all monotone, being told many times.

"Okay, well get out, you got some stuff to fight!"

"Thanks grandma."

The boys get out the car. As soon as Ray has gotten all the signs from the trunk, the old thing speeds off. Frank opens Gerard's phone, shifting the small back pack on his shoulders and counting down from three with his fingers.

"Hey lovelies so, we're currently outside Times Square, ready to go. I'm with Mikey, my brother and Ray, my best friend. Frankie's doing the camera. Say hi Frankie." Frank turns the camera around, waving.

"Hi Frankie."

"It's currently about ten am so, not a lot of people are going to be there. We're going to head out now."

Frank turns the camera off and they start walking.

When the boys arrive, a small mass of about sixty people stand in a group chanting. Gerard smiles at the sight.

"Mikey mega phone me." Frank turns on the camera.

"HELLO MY LOVELIES!" The group of people turn, screaming and gaping and yelling as they all see Gerard.

Gerard stands on a park bench and the rest of his team stand up on it with him.

"Okay! So Ray here has got signs for anyone who doesn't have any. We're going to be marching. I want everyone looking for people to join. AND PLEASE REMEMBER we fight with our words, not our fists. ARE YOU READY?"

A chorus of 'yeahs' mixed with various curse words and other things reply.

"I CAN NOT HEAR YOU!"

The voices come back louder, raising the spirits of all the people around them.

"ALL PEOPLE, ALL PEOPLE." The group chants as Gerard leads them down Main Street. The amount of people have increased tremendously. Thousands of people lined the streets. Ray was out of the signs Gerard made by now. Frank ran ahead of the group, stepping up onto a stone fountain. He grabbed at the micro phone Gerard gave him to hold.

"We will not be swept under he rug!" Screams sounded as people gathered around the monument. "We, will fight for what we believe in! Today it has been proven.....no one stands alone! You know why?! BECAUSE WE ALL MAY NOT BE HUMAN BUT, WE ARE ALL PEOPLE!" The crowd screamed, reaching all the way back to the end of the street and wrapping around. News reporters with cameramen ran ramped and choppers flew through the sky.

It was the second most beautiful sight Frank had every seen.
