Chapter Thirteen

Jordan stood shirtless by the window, staring at something outside. My eyes trailed up and down his back. Riley coughed loudly beside me, nudging me in the side. I held up my finger, telling her to wait a minute. Someone snickered from beside me," A picture would last longer you know," Jordan smirked when he turned around and saw me eye-raping him.

I scoffed, trying to cover up my blush," I was staring at the wall."

" The wall?"

" Yes the wall! have you seen the smoothness and sophistication of that thing?"

Everyone gave me weird looks," JORDAN!" Nathan screamed in a high pitched girly voice before tackling him to the ground," I missed you so much!" and with that, Nathan gave him a big, wet kiss on the cheek.

" Eww!" Jordan screamed, wiping off his wet cheek and pushing Nathan off him who grinned sheepishly." I missed you man," he mumbled, pulling Jordan into a bear hug," Don't I get a hug too BooBear?"

Riley blushed profusely at the sound of the nickname she had given Isaac," Don't call me that," he growled but blushed a bit at the name. " Come on Izzy," Jordan whined. " Don't call me that either," he deadpanned.

" Hug me?"

" No."

" Please?"

" No."

" Please, please, please?"

" No."

" Isaac just hug him," Riley said, amusement twinkling in her blue eyes as she watched the three boys. Isaac sighed as he "reluctantly" hugged Jordan," Although you're a pain in the ass and an annoying little shit, I missed you bro," Isaac mumbled awkwardly. Jordan beamed at him," I know you love me," he smirked, wiggling his eyebrows flirtatiously at Isaac. He scoffed in return before sitting on one of the chairs and propping Infinity up in his lap who fell asleep almost instantly.

Riley gave Jordan a hug like they'd known each other forever," I'm glad your back Jordan," Riley smiled," Av over here spent everyday and night at the hospital with you. She looked like shit in school and she was always wearing one of your hoodies wherever she went."

I glared at Riley as Jordan stared at me, different kinds of emotions flashing through his bright green eyes," Come on guys let's go wait in the car," Riley stated, ignoring my death glares. One by one, they left. Nathan and Riley winking at me,and Isaac giving me an amused look, Infinity snuggled to his chest as he carried her.

Once they were all gone, I stared at my fingers awkwardly. " I really missed you," I mumbled as I stared at him from across the room. His green eyes bore into mine as he silently crossed the room and stood in front of me, his body centimeters away from me, his lips inches away from mine. I pulled him into a hug, breathing in his smell as my heart hammered in my chest, my whole body on fire as he wrapped his arms around me and lifted me off the ground.

I wrapped my legs around his waist, pulling us closer together," You have no idea how much I missed you, Sunshine," he whispered as something wet slid down my cheek," I'm so sorry," I sobbed as tears of my own spilled from my eyes.

" Let's go," he said softly wiping away my tears as I did the same for him. I nodded silently, too caught up in my emotions to speak. He entwined our fingers as we walked out of the hospital. I looked down at our joined hands, a big grin quickly appearing on my face but as soon as it appeared, it disappeared as my eyes scanned the hundreds of tiny scars on his arm.

Sensing my change of mood, Jordan looked down at me, his smile immediately falling as he saw my fingers grazing the scars lightly.

It's my fault. 

" Don't blame yourself Av," he said, tilting my chin up so my gaze was torn away from his scars and to his eyes, " I did this to myself-"

"Because of me," I said guiltily, cutting him off and looking away from him." It helped me. Now just drop it, I'm okay now that I have you." 

" Okay," I sighed, not wanting to argue. I saw Riley break into a huge grin as we approached them," You guys are so cute," she gushed as we stopped infront of her. I rolled my eyes and blushed," Let's go lovebirds," Nathan said, getting in the back seat of my car," Let's go over my place," Isaac said, putting Infinity in the backseat and getting in his car," Okay," Jordan agreed, getting in the passenger side of my car," I texted Katherine and she's coming," Riley whispered into my ear before getting in the car beside Isaac.

I got in my car and followed behind Isaac, an annoyed look on my face as Nathan and Jordan argued all the way," Nate," I said causing him  and Jordan to shut up," have you spoken to Katherine since you guys broke up."

" No."

" You and Katherine broke-" Jordan started to ask but I put my hand on his knee, shaking my head. We pulled up infront of Isaac's mansion, and I quickly jumped out of the car, eager to get away from the tension caused by my question, while Nathan and Jordan stayed in, talking.

Isaac, who was carrying a still sleeping Infinity came out of his car, followed by Riley," Where are Nate and Jordan?" she asked, looking around. I pointed towards my car and walked inside the familiar mansion." Hi John," I said as Isaac's butler greeted me. I walked  past the expensive living room into the familiar, well stocked, spotless kitchen, raiding the cupboards for snacks. I finally pulled out a big bag of oreos, frustrated that Isaac was out of Hershey's Kisses, and pulled out a coca-cola out of the fridge that costed more than what my entire kitchen was worth. 

I stomped up the stairs, random maids giving me weird looks which I ignored as I walked down the endless corridor until I found myself in Isaac's room. Isacc's room was the teenage boy's dream, if they liked black that is. Everything was black and white. A black and white stripped king sized bed, white curtains, and all his electronics were black.

" Where's Infinity?" I asked, dropping into a beanbag ," In Alex's room sleeping," Isaac replied refering to his twenty year old sister who was studying fashion at some expensive university. "Oh," I said, popping an oreo into my mouth and chewing loudly. Everyone gave me annoyed looks," What?" I asked sweetly with an innocent smile, showing my oreo stained teeth. " You eat like a pig," Isaac stated bluntly. Riley snorted at Isaac's comment," Pigs eat better than that," she said in disgust as she stuck her thumb in my direction.

I ignored her comment, noticing Nathan was unusually quiet as he stared out the window and Jordan who was still talking to him, his voice in a hushed tone so I couldn't hear what they were saying." Let's watch a movie!" Riley exclaimed, killing a bit of tension that was lingering in the air. Nathan shrugged and I nodded in agreement.

" Let's go for a walk," Jordan whispered, his hot breath on the back of my ear sending chills down my spine," O-okay," I stammered, my cheeks heating up from our close proximity. He grabbed my hand and dragged me out the door. I glanced back to see Nathan and Riley making kissy faces at us.

Well I'm glad he's himself again.

I rolled my eyes, chuckling at their immaturity. Jordan led me me down the stairs and through the kitchen where we saw Isaac's housekeeper, Miranda, cooking by the stove." Smells delicious," Jordan commented," Isaac your mom and dad won't be back till-" she began, turning to face Jordan and I," Jordan, Avery!" she cried in surprise as she rushed over to us and engulfed us into loving hugs," I didn't know you were coming. I'm so glad to see you out of the hospital Jordan," she rambled, pulling Jordan into another quick hug." Is Nathan here?"

We nodded simultaneously," And that Riley girl, such a sweetheart. I'm so glad Isaac found someone like her, He's been showing his emotions a lot more, other than anger-" she stopped rambling, suddenly noticing Jordan and I's entwined fingers.

" You finally manned up," Miranda commented, nodding her head in approval," Finally?" I questioned, one eyebrow raised. Jordan blushed deeply," This guy over here has loved you since God created the heavens and the earth." It was my turn to blush now," I remember when he was just a little boy and you and the other boys were playing he'd come in here and he'd ask me for advise on how to win your heart-"

" Okay that's enough!" Jordan exclaimed, his face beet red," Aren't you too the cutest!" Miranda gushed, turning back to her pot." Well call us when dinner's ready!" Jordan called out over his shoulder," Sure hun!" she yelled back.
