Later

"You've arrived-yoi" Marco said as he saw Ace and Ayami speeding off towards him. Luna was beside him in her human form. "Luna! I thought you only reveal your human side when you needed it" Luna sigh. "My fur was getting heavy from the sweat and I had no choice but to change into my human form for now" Ayami smirked. "But we've been wandering at Alabasta and you seem fine" Ayami teased Luna as she flinched at the memory and blushed before looking away.

"Well? What did you guys got?" Ace said as he tossed Ayami's bag to her. Which she caught it with ease. "This place was being disturbed by marines and other pirates-yoi" Marco said as he looked back at the reports given by the town mayor.

"They even gave us a room for us to sleep, and all the food were on them" Ayami said as she took a peek at Marco's reports. "Aren't they generous?" Ayami said with a chuckle, "Since Pops's saved their island from some stupid bandits, they kinda think we're their heroes" Ace said with his signature goofy grin.

"Well? What are we waiting for? Let's get exploring" Ace said as he link arms with Ayami, red blush could be seen on her cheeks as Marco and Luna chuckled but stopped when they looked at each other before turning away with flustered cheeks.

In the town

"Whoa" Ayami said as the lively atmosphere surrounds them gets brighter and brighter as giggles coming from children and adults could be heard. Ace plucked up his courage and slides his hands on Ayami's as he hold her hand not wanting her to get lost. Ayami noticed this but could only turned away with a blush.

"Aren't they cute?" Luna nudged Marco's shoulder making him flinched and looked at the newly couple in front of them as a smirk formed on his face. "So, I was wondering-yoi" Luna looked at Marco who's face was a couple of centimeters away from her. "What're you going to do once your mission is done-yoi?" Luna looked away as her face darken before turning back to him with a smirk. "Finding someone immortal to live happily ever after? Maybe" before skipping away. However, those words somehow stings Marco's heart but he shook it away and joined the cheerful group.

They spent the day investigating and shopping along the way, not forgetting to feed Ace's bottomless pit stomach. "So, wh-Ace?" Ayami looked around not finding his freckled boyfriend but soon sigh when she heard his familiar snores below her, she looked down to meet a sleeping Ace with his face covered by his orange cowboy hat.

Later in the night

"Finally!" Ayami exclaimed as she cracked her knuckles as they beaten the bandits that kept terrorizing the town and emerged victory. "We better hea-" Luna's ears perked up as their attention was now on her as her eyes widen, she looked at them and mouthed 'marines' their eyes soon widen but quickly hides on top of some trees, Ayami hides her hair inside her hoodie and hides half of her face with it as Luna stood guard and pretended to be a normal fox below them.

"Hey look! Isn't she pretty?" one of the marines were closing in on Luna but her ears lowered behind her and she growled at them making them backing away from her. "Leave it, she must be this hill's guardian" Luna's ears perked up as she heard the familiar voice. As soon as the marines left, there stood the last remaining one. Its the admiral. He lowered himself to Luna's eye level before smiling gently and spoke up, "If you're here, then she must be here too" Luna backed up slowly but the man didn't move a muscle.

"Tell her, big brother is doing fine, but since we're going to meet again I'm going to let you go only this time" before petting the growling Luna on her head and disappeared into thin air. Marco and Ace both jumped down and looked around for some marine spies but non, they looked at Luna who was staring at Ayami who's face darken since the admiral opened his mouth.

"Come on, he already gave us the green light we need t-" Ace's word were stopped as he felt his cheeks getting damper and looked up, a single tear crashed down on his nose. His face turned into a guilty one as he opened his arms and supported Ayami as she jumped down. He didn't let go at all, until Ayami spoke up. "W-we need to g-get going" her words were mixed mumble as she tried regaining back her sense.

Later

Both Ace and Ayami was silent as they speed off towards the Moby Dick. Ace, wanting to avoid the awkward position opened his mouth. "Who was that man? And I want the truth" he said as he slowed down his striker. Ayami looked up at him with her sad eyes, "He's my brother, I haven't seen him since I was 3 and I was shocked to see him just now, All grown up to be a handsome man" she wiped the tears that was trailing down her cheeks.

"He's kind, ever since we were kids I was the most troubled child in the family but he was the one who thought me to calm myself down whenever Khione started to take over" Ace tilted his head and listen intently at her,

"He choose to be a marine, which is weird since both of my parents were pirates but we didn't mind I can still hear it him saying 'Its my job as your older brother to keep my troubled little sister away from trouble' and patted my head not to forget treating my minor wounds too" Ayami looked up at Ace who was already wrapped his arms around her waist. He waste no time and crashed their lips together.

"You know what's funny?"

"What?"

"You brother said the same thing as me and Sabo when we're about to part away from Luffy!"

The silent night was filled with laughter by the two figure standing on a single striker.
