'Death Goddess' Ayami (Ace X OC)

Part 29: The King and Queen

A few weeks later

The crew had just docked on Snowflake Kingdom, Ace alongside the other pirates had to wear winter coats due to the extreme cold the island gave out. "W-why i-i-is the i-island s-so cold?!" Ace shouted in between shivers, followed by his fellow 'brother's' nodding at him.

"Oh, forgot to mention that the island is cold since the snowflakes are made from sea water, plus the constant blizzard powered by the Queen herself" Ace shivered again, 'How strong can her mother be?!' he shouted in his mind as his legs shakingly moved towards the village. 

Upon arriving the village, the people there were very excited once they saw Ayami and Luna came back. "Princess!!" they shouted in unison as they circled around them, "We're sorry to make you all worried, but I have an important meeting with the King and Queen" the people nodded and let both the princess and the pirates behind her pass. 

The cold and blizzard began to die down, "Whatever happen, do not remove those coats" Luna shouted to the men, the men were Ace's and Marco's subordinate as they nodded. Once reaching the gates, the gatekeeper gladly opened the door letting the pirates in. 

"Well, here we are" Ayami said as she pointed to the icy looking castle in front of them. The men jaws dropped as the maids removed their coats but was refused by Ayami. They stepped back and walked in, were the King and Queen of Snowflake sat, alongside Khione. 

"You're ba-" "My snowflake!!" the King's words were cut off by the Queen as she sprint in her royal dress towards Ayami and tackled her in a tight hold. "Lucy, I know you missed her but please don't kill the damn girl" Luna said as Lucy pouted and released her daughter. "And what do we have here? Whitebeard's 'sons' I believe?" The King, Thanatos Jackal spoke up, making the men gulped and colors drained from Ace's handsome features. 

Later

"Mother, Father, I don't want to drag this too long but I need your blessings" upon hearing their daughter's request, Jackal spit out his drink and Lucy choked on her food. "My daughter is getting married?! TO WHO?!!" Jackal's voice boomed the castle, shaking it slightly, "So this is what you mean by do not mess with the King of Shinigami-yoi" Marco whispered to Luna as she sigh. 

"Me, sir" Ace bravely stepped in, and stood beside Ayami locking his fingers with hers. "Portgas D. Ace, I see" Jackal spoke up as black fog clouded the castle, "Oh boy" Lucy sigh and shook her head, "This will lead to a slight headache, but be strong" Lucy mouthed to Ace as he nodded. 

The fog slowly disappear as Ace shook his head, "What did you do?" he asked the King. "Just wanted to see if you're the perfect man for my princess" Ace cocked his head, but then his narcoleptic triggered. "And the ans-Huh?" Jackal looked at the sleeping man, worried if his fog did something wrong. "Don't worry, just narcoleptic" Ayami giggled as Jackal gave her the answer. 

The look on Ayami's face couldn't be brighter than the sun.
