Part 22: Asking

Ace's POV

After days we defeated the bandits, an idea popped out. I want to marry her, but even I don't know the real way to propose to a goddess and if I ask her, she might get suspicious. I wanted to ask Luna but...

I gulped at the idea, she might killed me for asking her on how to propose to her master. But, I rather take the risk. Today, Ayami is out shopping with Izo eventhough Luna insists she accompany, but she can't back down an order now can she?

"Um, Luna?" I touched her shoulder and instantly her dagger was in front of me, now you know why I'm slightly afraid of her do you?

"I wanted to ask, h-ho-" "Spit it!" "How to propose to Ayami!" I spat it and covered my mouth and backed away slightly. I looked up to her and she was smiling? And sigh. "Thank god, you finally asked that" she actually agree?

"Well, when Hephaestus wanted to propose to Khione, he made her a charm necklace, you saw that snowflake charm around her neck right?" I nodded as I remembered it, it was really beautiful. "He even made a ring for her, those things were really precious as he made it will all his heart and just like that, they married" my jaws literally dropped. "I didn't know it was that simple!" Luna chuckled before continuing. 

"But, you need to impress me first if you want to get to Ayami" now here comes the hard part.

Normal POV

Ace frown at that part, "Did Hephaestus impress you?" Luna nodded, "He made like a couple of thousands failures, but eventually he won" she looked up, remembering the unforgettable event.

Ace got up, and smiled widely. "Just you wait, I will impress you and marry her!" before stomping away. Luna shook her head, "One day you'll meet someone special to you, huh? Give me a break Lucy.." she said as she stared at the horizon. "Even if I marry someone, I can't abandon my duty, isn't that right? Tomoe.." a single tear could be seen, she didn't notice but a familiar pineapple head saw her sorrows.
