Next day and Ayami's POV
I twitched my eyes open, I slowly got up and looked around me. I'm in some kind of cabin from the moment my eyes landed on the window. Maybe I'm on someone's ship? Heheh aren't they kind enough to let me stay.
I looked down to see Luna sleeping, she must have stayed when I went unconscious. Poor girl, I gently patted her head and her eyes opened as I could see her red orbs. She got up and sat on her hind legs before looking up at me, "You finally awake, stupid master" ahh, bitchy as ever. I don't mind though.
"Yeah" I moaned and stretched my arms up in the air before continuing, "I haven't had a decent sleep since it raise" I heard another groan as I looked at Luna before she nudged her head to some directions. I looked at where she was pointing and there lies a half naked man, sleeping on the couch.
"That's Fire fist Ace, he's guarding us for the time being well that until you woke up actually" Luna said as I chuckled at her. "A narcoleptic guy like him guarding us?" Luna rolled her eyes. "Tell me abo-Someone's coming" her ears perked up and we both looked at the door as it opens
Normal POV
"You're up-yoi" Luna started to growl as Marco came in, "Are you that mad at me-yoi?" Luna nodded.
"Why're you here, Phoenix?" Ayami asked as her doll-like expression shine bright. "You're on our ship actually-yoi" he said boringly as he kicks Ace until he woke up. "We're on Moby Dick?" he nodded, "Well, can I meet Whitebeard?" he nodded again after Ace woke up. "Like I sa-huh? What happened" as he ruffled his hair.
"Your narcoleptic triggered" Luna said as she supported Ayami as she got up. "You're sure you're okay?" they both nodded. "I'm just sleepy nothing more" before fixing her coat and walked towards the door. "Hold it right there, we're going too-yoi" Marco said as he opened the door and he walked out first.
"Doesn't he know the meaning of 'ladies first'?" Luna bark up at Marco who 'tsked' at her.
"Commander Marco! Who's that?" Marco's subordinate shouted as more come closer to both Ayami and Luna. "Move, she's here to see Pops" they all soon move but some nosebleed after seeing a glimpse of her body. Luna sigh but quickly stood her guard as they approaching the deck.
Ayami sat down as Luna followed, they both now looking boringly at the World's Strongest man alive, Whitebeard.
Whitebeard's POV
So she's Jackal's daughter? She does have her father bored look but what's about that face of hers reminds me of someone?
"What is your name, brat?"
"Ayami"
"He meant your fu-" Jozu's words were cut off by another feminine voice.
"If my master stated that's her name, then that's her name" all eyes darted at the fox as it bowed slightly,
"Pardon my rudeness, my name is Luna, Mistress Ayami's partner"
"What were you doing jumping around my ship, Luna?" I asked as she looked at her master and back at me.
"I merely finding a place to boost my pace so I could catch my master, but a certain phoenix decided to be a hero" she glared at Marco who was exchanging the same thing.
"Can you 2 stop bickering?" Ayami spoke up without cutting her gaze from me, for some reason I thought she could fit perfectly well in this crew.
"I would but he won't" Ayami sigh but continue to wait patiently for the next question.
"You look lost for some reason, Ayami" I asked as I stared into her eyes, they were like Ace's but a bit different.
"I sent out to be a lone pirate more than 2 years ago"
"And what motivate you to be a pirate? Its dangerous for a petite girl like you to be living in a hellish world like this" Ayami and Luna looked at each other before laughing like mad women.
"We already clawed our way out of hell, twice" Luna then continue with a sinister grin,
"And we can do it again and again" now both of them were smiling like mad women.
"If so, would you like to be my daughter?" I extended my hand, I already thought about it if she refused.
Normal POV
Ayami smirked before placing her hand on his big one, Luna followed after seeing her master's confident radiating to her. "Fine, I'll be your one and only daughter" the crew then cheered loudly.
"Are you sure this is fine?" Luna asked as Ayami rubbed her head.
"If they betray us, we can just kill them with ease" Luna smiled before looking back at the drunken men.
Suddenly, it turns into some food wars.
Ayami's POV
I glared down at Luna, damn her for being short and can avoid this. As I was dodging I felt an arm snake itself around my waist, as I was to fight back the person turned around and I realized he since this crew is filed with guys was protecting me from a wave of flying food. I looked up and meeting a familiar orange cowboy hat.
"Ace?!" he flashed me his goofy smile, my heart suddenly skipped a beat. what is this feeling? its making me burning.
"Good thing I good to save you before you drown in food" my cheeks suddenly burned up. He lets go of me but something in my head screamed to him to not let me go.
