Seeing You Again

Chapter 15

Lily's POV

That evening I sit in the cabin alone, the envelope Derrick gave me earlier in my hands. I've been staring at it for ages without opening it. 

Finally I get the courage to open the envelope. When I open it an letter falls out of it. I grab the letter cautiously, scared of what might be on it. Looking around once more to see if anyone's came inside. Happy that nobody has entered the cabin yet I pick up the letter and begin to read it.

To Lily,

            I don't know what happened between you and Jon but you have to fix it. He's been an emotional wreck. Flinching whenever someone comes up behind him. When he walks around he seems almost scared. Please, you have to talk to him and fix whatever happened. I'm begging you.

I looked into the envelope to see if anything else was in there but I didn't see anything. I sigh, thinking about what Derrick wrote. 

How can I fix it when I didn't cause the problem. It was Harry who threatened him. I sit on my bed just thinking. That is until the door opens, revealing Niall. 

As fast as I possibly can I hid the envelope and letter underneath my blankets. Niall gives me a confused look and I just smile at him, trying to act as casual as I can. 

"What are you doing?" His thick Irish accent floats through my ears. "Not much, just thinking. What are you up to?" I ask, hopping down from my bed. "Just came to grab you actually. We're meeting in the trees for another one of those couple challenge things Liam and Louis have created." I nod my head, grabbing my coat and beanie. I slide into my boots before checking my reflection. I smile at myself, deciding I look presentable. Niall takes my hand and he leads me to where ever the rest of the boys are. 

When we reach the boys I see them standing around, talking and goofing around like always. I smile at them and Harry notices me approaching. 

"About time you got here." He whispers and I smile at him shyly. "Where were you anyways?" He asks, a serious look on his face when he asks me. "I was just in the cabin. Don't worry, it's not like I was getting into any kind of trouble. That's more your style anyways." He smile cheekily at me. "At least you're here now." I smile at him before turning my attention to Liam and Louis who are just about to explain this challenge.

"Okay everybody. Welcome to Day 2 of couple challenges." Liam says, looking at each of us. "The few activities we have for today are going to be here in among the trees." Louis explains and I nod my head. I kinda figured that much. "For the first challenge you will need to find your inner Tarzan." Liam says and I look at Harry worried. 

What on Earth do they have planned?

"We have set up ropes that will help you navigate through the trees. You will go from tree to tree in a marked out route. Whichever team can have the fastest combined time wins." Louis says happily and I look at Harry skeptically. All he does is shrug. 

Niall and Nikita decide to go first. They aren't doing to bad, that is until Nikita falls, bringing poor Niall down with her. I can't refrain from laughing at the 2 of them, sprawled out on the snow. 

It soon becomes mine and Harry's turn and I can't help but wonder if we're going to fail like we did yesterday. 

We climb up the tree to where we're suppose to start. I look down and I nearly fall. We're so high up and on such an unstable branch that I'm starting to feel faint. Harry gives me an encouraging look. 

As we swing to the first branch I notice it's awfully thin. We land and like I sorta guessed the branch broke. Harry grabs onto me, pulling me into his chest to try and protect me. We land with a thud and I hear Harry let out a low groan. 

I scramble off of Harry quickly. 

"Oh my god Harry, are you okay?" I ask, looking at him worried. "Just peachy." He struggles to sit upright and I try to help him as best as I can. I get him to lean against a tree. Crouching down beside him I start to examine his arms and legs, making sure he didn't break anything. 

When I've come to the conclusion he hasn't broken anything and his back will hurt for a couple days I help him to the cabin, leaving the others to continue with the challenges. 

Of course something like this would happen to us.

When we get back to the cabin I help Harry into his bed. He falls asleep quickly, or at least I think he did. I pull my blankets up, about to climb into them when the letter and envelope fall from underneath them. Harry grabs it quickly and looks at it, reading it quickly before I had a chance. 

"What the hell is this?"
