Lily's POV
As Louis and I skate around the rink I can't help but get lost in my thoughts. I think about how much I'm going to miss the boys and Nikita. What my life is going to be like after I move.
"Lily, did you hear anything I said?" Louis asks me and I look down, blushing slightly. "No, sorry." I apologize. I look over at him and he smiles at me. I bite my lip looking down at my skates. "I kind of figured considering you stopped skating altogether and I've been dragging you for the last two laps." I can feel my cheeks getting redder by the minute.
Louis laughs and leads me to the bench and we sit down.
''So what were you thinking about?" Louis asks me, shifting his body slightly so he's facing me. I look over at him and give him a sad smile. "I was thinking about how much I'm going to miss you guys and how different my life's going to be after I move."
Louis puts a reassuring hand on my knee, rubbing circles with his thumb. "We're going to keep in touch with you Lily and we'll visit as often as we can." I look over at him sadly. "That is if you can at all." Louis kisses my cheek softly. "We will come visit you. It might not be right away but we'll see you again eventually." I smile at him.
"I'll be overjoyed when that time comes." Louis smiles at me.
"Shall we continue skating or do you want to do something else?" Louis asks me and I shrug my shoulders. "I could skate more, but it doesn't matter." Louis stands and takes my hand. "Shall we skate?" He says in a posh voice. "We shall." I say, taking his hand and standing up.
Louis and I skate around and as we skate we talk.
At first the topics are random. Then we started talking about our families then we somehow got on the topics of our futures.
"I always hoped to become a singer one day. Not that I'd ever make it." Louis says and I look at him. "I've heard you sing before and if it's any constellation you've got a hell of a good voice. If you worked hard enough then you could make it." Louis smiled at me. "Well at least I'd know that I would have one fan supporting me." I can see his laugh lines when he smiles and it makes me smile.
"My family's always taught me to care about my education and if I have a good education then I'll have good job and a good future life. I don't think that's always true though." Louis looks at me curiously. "Why would you say that?" He asks me curiously. I take a deep breath before answering his question.
"The reason I say this is no matter how much you study, how good of grades you get or how successful you are at your job it's not going to prepare you everything. School hasn't taught me how to do taxes, my grades well all there going to do is help me get more schooling and the job that will have will help me get money to put my future children through school. So whatever I decide it will just be another thing to add to the never ending circle."
Louis looks over at me in awe.
"Woah, now that was deep."
