Chapter 2: Saturday Before School Start

"Dom P.O.V": Coach told us that if we miss practice the last weekend of summer we weren't going to ball in the first two games. I showed up cause basketball is my ticket out of here. On the other hand MJ he ain't here yet and he's my right hand man on and off the court. Couch had me running suicides since I didn't tell him where MJ was. And honestly I aint know. As im running MJ jogged into the gym dressed out and everything ready to start practice. Couch put the whole team in a line.

Coach: ONE LATE YOU ALL ARE LATE! I WANT A FULL SPRINT ON THE BLOW OF THE WHISTLE! *blows whistle*

We all sprinted. When we finished coach took us to the weight room and that where we had to put in some work. We all had to be able to bench 150 by the end of the summer, if you couldn't you're not allowed to play until you can. Coach left out cause he got a phone call and all of us stopped benching.

I sat up and looked at MJ.

Dom: He had my ass running suicides all cause I aint know where your ass was.
MJ: coach just a bitch.

Coach walked into the weight room.

Coach: Go home, i gotta go.

Coach let us get out and he locked up the weight room. As im walking out to my car i see couch jogging to his car and then he left within seconds. MJ ran up by my and i was about to punch his ass.

Dom: What bruh.
MJ: I need a ride.
Dom: when dont you need a ride.

I unlocked my doors and got in. Soon as we got in he touched my aux cord.

Dom: the moment you play some stupid shit I'm going to snatch it out yo phone.

I pulled off and MJ played, "Games by Speaker Knockerz". We was turnt all the way to his house. We dapped each other up before he got out the car and headed up his driveway. As i made my way to the main road, i saw Ki'anna walking. I pulled up beside her and rolled down the window.

Dom: KIKI you want a ride? It's about to rain.
KIKI: *looks at the clouds* yeah.

KiKi got in the car, she stay in the other neighborhood but i don't mind giving her a ride. Plus she had books in her arms.

Dom: Why you got books?
KiKi: I went to the library and dad took my car keys so I had to walk.
Dom: You don't know how to take the bus.
KiKi: No. But thank you for giving me a ride.
Dom: of course anytime. I wasn't gonna let a gorgeous girl like you walk home in the rain.
KiKi: Dom stop playing. How money you want for gas?
Dom: Nah foreal i dont want nothing from you. Where you stay?
KiKi: the other neighborhood on the far right last house.

I drove her home and i let the radio play. The song, "Take It To The Head by DJ Khaled" played. And we laughed and talked. I pulled up to her house and she kissed my cheek.

KiKi: Thanks for the ride Dom.
Dom: Anytime.

I watched her ass as she walked away and then i pulled off and headed home.

"MJ P.O.V": When i walked into the house my people was going at it again. My sister aint home so I aint got no one to ask me to take me somewhere away from this. I pulled out my phone and texted my girl known as Princess.

I grabbed my backpack and packed a few things. I left out my room window. Hopped a few gates and a wall to get to Princess house. When i got there she was dressed all bummy with curly ass hair.(picture of Princess down below)

MJ: Ma wassup with your hair.
Princess: Mama ain't leave me money to get it done is what happened.
MJ: Wait this yo natural hair.
Princess: Yeah. Problem?
MJ: Hell nah, yo ass got good hair. Don't be putting that fake shit in your hair no more.
Princess: Yeah yeah. Time for me to redye your hair and mines. Want me to redye it now?
MJ: Bae i want a different color this time.
Princess: What color?
MJ: same color that your going to do.
Princess: So you want red.
MJ: Yeah.
Princess: okay.

I followed Princess upstairs to her room. The portion where she has basically a hair salon. Spent the rest of the day with my baby.
