Pro threw a pair of scissors across the tent in frustration that she couldn't find anything to do.
A second later, she decided that she needed her scissors and moved to pick them up, scowling to herself. Pro then exited the tent, hoping that she could find something - anything - to do.
She walked about the campground, followed from the shadows by a silent figure unbeknownst to her at the time.
"Hello, Pro." The figure murmured. Pro mentally screamed, whirling to face the figure.
"Toxic?!"
"I didn't know I was that scary." Toxic replied, amused.
"You just spooked me a little, that's all."
"Yeah...sure." Toxic smirked. "You're bored out of your mind too?"
When Pro nodded in response, Toxic sighed. "Thank goodness I'm not the only one."
Pro heard a noise, similar to a scream, in the distance. "What's that?"
Toxic waved a hand dismissively, saying "Ranger and Midnight are testing their theory about Red."
She raised an eyebrow and walked toward the scream.
"Where are you going?" Toxic questioned.
"Someone screamed. I'm heading toward the sound." Pro replied.
"Well, that's to be expected. From what I know, Red isn't exactly a friend. I'd assume she probably punched someone. Hopefully someone particularly deserving."
"How do you know it's them and not someone else?" Pro asked.
"Because I recognize the voice. Wolf was escorting Red to the tent she would stay in, and they got into a comeback war. Wolf won the argument, but...Red doesn't like being defeated."
"Why was Wolf escorting Red in the first place?"
Toxic grinned. "Midnight separated her from Ranger. Now they're two people. Red isn't trustworthy, so they thought it would be a good idea to keep her under supervision."
"I should really catch up with the group every once in awhile. But here's my question. Why put her in a tent instead of a prison cell?"
"Who knows anything these days?" Toxic huffed. "Nothing we do makes sense."
"That is true. If I would have been escorting Red, it would be to a maximum security prison, not a measly little tent."
"I'm glad someone in this place has common sense." Red said from behind Pro.
Pro whirled to face her, eyes wide in surprise. "When did you get here?"
Toxic stared at Red, a half-wary and half-confused look on her face. "Aren't you supposed to be with Wolf?"
Red shrugged, then replied "I hope this doesn't put a damper on anything, but I may or may not have killed her."
"What?! Why? Killing someone over a comeback war?" Pro growled at Red.
Red just raised an eyebrow. "Calm yourself, slime hybrid. I'm joking. Wolf is fine."
"You shouldn't joke around about that." Pro replied in anger. Pro pulled out her scissors and said her line.
"My name is Pro. My weapon of choice is a pair of scissors. Your argument is invalid. AND SO IS YOUR LIFE!"
"I'm terrified." Red replied sarcastically, then stepped forward. "You have scissors. I have a sword. Your call."
"But I can do something you can't." And with that, Pro divided into many smaller clones of herself. Red accidentally stepped on one as they scattered everywhere.
"OW!" All the Pro clones yelled in agony.
Red stared in confusion for a moment, then burst out laughing.
"QUIT LAUGHING PUNY MORTAL!" All the Pro clones screamed.
Red immediately went dead silent. "Mortal?" She repeated, her voice dangerously quiet.
Toxic began to inch away from them.
"Allow me to make one thing very clear, slime." Red murmured, eyes flashing brighter in fury. "I am not mortal. And I am capable of ending your life in a heartbeat."
Pro's clones raised their eyebrows. "Is that supposed to scare me?"
"I'm just warming up." Red replied, flashing a grin that was tinged with madness.
Pro blinked. Then suddenly Ranger showed up at Pro's side. Upon seeing Ranger, Red's eyes darkened considerably. "So the Ender lives." She mocked, crossing her arms.
"Nice observation." Ranger replied.
"Well, I have places to go and things to do. Like sit in a tent and do nothing whatsoever. Have a nice day." Red vanished.
As Red vanished, Pro and Ranger split up, looking for where Red had gone. They finally met up again at the place they had confirmed as Red's tent.
"What are you two doing here?" Red asked calmly.
"We want to keep an eye on you, knowing the way you are." Pro replied.
"Despite popular opinion, I'm not going to hurt anyone."
"Sure." Ranger muttered, clearly disbelieving.
"I'm being serious." Red said, and for once, she seemed to be telling the truth. "I value my freedom more than I want revenge. So you can stop supervising me like I'm a problematic child."
"So you're going to be nice to us now? Considering what you've done in the past? I find that hard to believe." Ranger said.
"I said nothing about being nice. I just said I wouldn't hurt anyone. There's a rather large difference."
"Can you just be nice so we can be friends here?" Pro questioned, annoyed.
"Being bad is all I've ever known." Red smirked. "Have fun trying to break me of that habit."
"Understandable. I used to be a rather violent person. When any guard saw me, they ran like a kid running away from a clown." Pro replied.
Red's amusement faded as she stared at Pro. "You could never understand." She muttered.
"Don't underestimate me. I know more than you think." Pro replied.
"I don't underestimate anyone. I state facts. And right now, it is a fact that you will never understand me."
"I get the feeling that you would fit in well at the asylum." Pro said.
Red stood up abruptly, saying "Look, I'm not in a very talkative mood. Both of you get out, or I will make you."
"Stop trying to act all-powerful. We all know that you're nothing compared to the great and powerful me." Pro said seriously.
Red twitched ever so slightly.
Pro divided in smaller clones of herself and ran, each clone with a pair of sharp scissors in their hands. Ranger didn't move, knowing that she would probably accidentally step on one or several of her best friends.
Pro managed to get to a place further out of range of Red's tent. Ranger teleported away, appearing at Pro's side. "I recommend staying far away from that tent." Ranger whispered.
