The small kit stumbled in the icy snow wondering if she would survive.
Everything was so new, from the snow beneath her paws to the trees around her.
The kit closed her eyes and smiled, thinking about the scene around her as cold darkness began to takeover her while she collapsed into the snow.
The last thing she remembered was the padding of paws behind her and being lifted up off the ground.
Next thing she knew she felt her frail body hit the snow, and opened her eyes to see a large she-cat on the ground panting hard as her chest heaved. Not knowing what was happening, she mewed softly and saw the she-cat look at her. The she-cats gaze was full of pain and the kit became scared. Just then a tom bounded to the she-cat and began to murmur to her while massaging her belly.  The she-cat shrieked as a kit came, the tom bit open the sack covering the kit and licked its fur backwards to warm it up. Then, he pushed the two kits to the belly of the she-cat and purred: "Congratulations Cloudflower, you have two  healthy she-cats."

"Ah, *pant* okay. This one shall be called, Robinkit." Cloudflower sighed, pointing weakly to the newborn kit. "And this one shall be Frostkit." She said, pointing to the other one. Robinkit was a gray kit with dark ginger belly, while Frostkit was black with silver and white splotches. Both kits pressed their fur against Cloudflower and as she began to move, she grabbed Robinkit by the scruff to carry her while the tom did the same for Frostkit, while they made their way back to camp.
