As the group of apprentices finished up the sun was low in he sky casting scarlet patterns across the sky. They walked toward the apprentice den after their mentors nodded for them to go and sleep. Their paws were weary after the long day. Goldpaw flopped down on her moss and curled up, Nightpaw settled down inbettween her and Coalpaw. Maplepaw was on the other side of Coalpaw with Sootpaw near her. Frostpaw and Robinpaw had nests next to each other. Goldpaw relaxed and let sleep take over as the darkness pulled her in. The golden she-cat opened her eyes to see a tom standing in front of her. A meadow surrounded them but they were in a small clearing about a fox-length wide. The tom glanced down at her with dark green eyes. He didn't speak, instead flicking his tail in a gesture to follow him. He leapt through the clearing into the meadow swiftly. Before she thought if this was a good choice or not she leapt after him. She ran behind him her tail streaming freely in the wind. See could only see his tail as it dissapered in the long grass that swayed as he pushed through. He came to an abrupt stop suddenly before her. She shoved her paws into the ground, sliding to a stop. Before her she could see a wall of light expanding as far as she could see. The tom looked down and said quickly; "Be careful, the tales are not always as they seem." Before she could asked what that was supposed to mean she found her self back in her den, her friends stirring around her.
