Percy

Percy put on his earrings and then checked himself out in the mirror. Styled hair, the camp shirt with a black jacket and ripped jeans. Perfect!

Changing since the war was a fucking good choice. He didn't need to care about the fucking world. This was a perfect life.

He stepped out of his cabin only to come face-to-face with Annabeth Chase. Percy groaned internally. The last thing he needed was to meet his girlfriend.

She frowned at his clothing and then sighed. "You won't change I guess. Whatever". She smiled. "Come on! Breakfast's read-!". He cut her off, "You don't need to fucking care about me, Chase! Mind your own buisness".

The smile disappeared off Annabeth's face. Tears surfaced, but she controlled herself. Percy watched with satisfaction as she turned and walked off without another word. As her figure vanished, a voice said, "You've changed so much, man".

Jason Grace walked towards him, glaring and staring right in Percy's eyes. Percy rolled his eyes. Here came another big Drama Queen. Or King. Whatever. "What do you want, Grace?", he snarled. Jason sighed and stood in front of him.

"Percy", he began. "We liked the way you were. I know you did this to yourself because of Tartarus, but please don't ruin your relationship with your friends. Especially with Annabeth. She was with you everywhere you went. Even Tartarus". He lowered his voice, and said in a deathly calm tone, "Be honest with me and answer this: Has being changed made your bad memories go away? Does it... Does it make you happy by hurting Annabeth and the rest of us everyday?"

His voice turned as sharp as broken glass. "Please... Change yourself. I want you to be you again". Jason turned away, shoved his hands in his pockets and walked away, head down.

All that satisfaction Percy had gotten over the year melted away. He remembered Annabeth. Why was he doing this? He could have taken the bad memories away by spending time with her. He had just lied to himself, saying that this made him feel better. He was a bad guy. That was the truth. He was a guy who hurt a girl who loved him, hurt friends that would have been always there with him. If he changed back, would that make things go back to the way they were?

He turned back and entered his cabin. Yhings were a blur next. He took a shower, threw his clothes and jewellery away. He wore a fresh Camp Half- Blood shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.

Would everyone even forgive him? He definetly had ruined his relationship with Annabeth. Would it be possible to mend it? Questions swirled around in his head, but he composed himself and exit the cabin, and started his walk to the Dining Pavilion.

All heads turned in Percy's direction when he walked in. There were gasps of surprise.

"Is that Percy?"

"Holy Hera! He's back to his old self"

"He's not punk anymore?"

"Percy?". That particular voice made him turn towards the speaker. Annabeth. He scratched his neck awkwardly.

"Um... Hey, everyone!". Just that one sentence made everyone cheer, except for Annabeth. He walked towards her. "I'm sorry, Wise Girl. I would totally understand if things can't go back to the way they wer-".

His speech was interruted by Annabeth throwing her arms around him. He grinned and hugged her back.

The obnoxious cheering started again.

All was well.

I apologize if that was short. Hope u enjoyed.
