It was strange and new to me. The boldness and the rest. I thought of Shane for the rest of that night.
Whenever I thought of what he'd done, of how he made me touch him, of when I saw him shirtless, my entire body had a strange reaction. Strange but pleasant. One I'd never felt around Josh. I couldn't explain how confused I was.

That night I dreamt of Shane. It was totally inappropriate and there was no way to avoid him. I didn't understand. I felt almost frustrated for something I wasn't sure I knew about.

On a free day, Sloane invited me to their place. I went of course. Shane had gone to work. We ate and chatted.
"So you really want to join the filming industry?" she asked, smiling.
"Yeah. I've always dreamt of it."
"I see. True that it's something really interesting. I've always wanted to be in charge of the costumes for any movie. Plus it gives me good money." she giggled.
"You're so lucky. You have a nice house, a good job and a talented boyfriend."
"Thanks."
"How old are you? I'm 20."
"I'm 24."
"Seriously? I thought you were 21." I said surprised.
She laughed.
"Thanks, I'm not that old either. I really like you already. You're a nice person."
"Thanks." I smiled.
"No problem honey. That's why after you graduate, I have a place for you at H.productions."
'WHAT?'
My plate almost fell out of my hand. I was dumbfounded and stared at Sloane.
"S- Sloane are you serious?"
"Of course." she gave me a beaming smile.
"That's too much I-"
"Consider it a guaranteed job opportunity from a friend."
Was this luck? No, It was a blessing!
"Oh my God! Thank you." I hugged her happily. She laughed.
"The merit goes to Shane too."
"Shane?"
"He's the one who informed me about you and your passion for cinematography and how good of a student you are. He also asked me to consider employing you after you graduate. I agreed and so, thank him later."
"Oh, I will."
"And also, a certain Keisha as well. You're best friend apparently will be given the same opportunity."
I couldn't help it but smile even more. I was so happy.
"Thank you so much."
"No problem dear. All you have to do is graduate. Both of you . Then I'll talk to my dad."
I couldn't stop thanking her. This was a dream come true. It was the opportunity.

I later left their house and decide to pass by Shane's worksite to thank him . I was determined to graduate with a merited diploma.
