Y/n's Pov
I checked my watch. It was 9:30 in the morning. I lost count of the days, I don't know what month is it, and I'm losing hope. I've been wandering around the city for who knows how long; I searched for weapons, shelter, food...I've been struggling to fight these dead bodies walking. I don't know what happened, but I'm willing to find out.
I was sitting on top of a rooftop, the city was filled with silence; everywhere I looked I kept seeing these fucking monsters.
I lost my family, my friends, I don't know where my girlfriend is or how is she...I lost everything. I haven't had human contact in a while and it's driving me insane.
These streets used to be so crowded, I was used to wake up to the sound of traffic, to the sound of my sisters fighting, to the sweet "Good Morning" of my loving mother, you used to be somebody in this world somehow.
Everything is just a long lost memory now; I have no idea how I've come this far.
I decide to walk back to the streets; God. These things are so allert when it comes to sounds. I saw a few Roamers in the area I wanted to go to.

I grab my crossbow and aim at their heads. I killed them silently, not wanting to catch the attention of other Biters; I walk towards the rotting bodies and grab my arrows and re-load my crossbow. I start walking towards a building to look for something useful. After a few steps I hear the sound of glass breaking, I look down and see the shattered glass, it had blood splatters, it actually looked recent; I look around me to see if there were any lurkers. The road seemed undisturbed, I step over the glass and approached the door; each step I took echoed throughout the hallway, I grab my pocketknife out of my pocket in case a Lurker jumped out, I walked my way to the stairs, I proceeded into a room and placed my crossbow onto the desk. I saw pages after pages, I grabbed one and started reading.
It seemed like in this building they were working for the entertainment section, nothing interesting really. I examined the room, the walls were filled with records. I read the names on the labels.

These people realized their dreams just currently, and then because of some kind of virus their dream was demolished. I suddenly hear the floor slightly squeak I slowly grab my crossbow and start pointing at the door. I hear it make an inaudible sound, once it felt my presence it started speeding towards me, and I shoot. The Roamer fell to its knees, I grabbed my arrow and check the badge; "Employee of the month".

"Congratulations Mate." I say out loud.

I walk out of the room and studied the different sounds that I could hear.
Wind, dripping water...nothing to be too worried about; I enter another room, it looked a bit clearer and spacious, this was probably the "Boss's" office.
I inspect the room once more, this one had pictures attached to the wall, I didn't really know who they were, but I probably heard of these people somewhere. I open the cabinets, and I found a bunch of pills, I took them and stuffed then into my backpack and walked back out, when I walked pass a room I heard sobs, I step back and carefully glance at the area, it was filled with computers on desks, the lights were twitching and the sobs started to get softer, all that could be heard now was heavy breathing; I reach the doorknob of an entrance while I grasp my knife, I open as quickly as possible with my weapon ready to crash into a skull, but I was surprised with  a young lady crumbled into a corner, covering her face.
I begin to walk near her.

"Please don't hurt me, I already lost my friends and family!"  I heard her say.

I could feel the hurt through the words.

"Hey it's alright, I'm here to help." I say kneeling.

She finally decided to look up, and I had the chance to analyze her features, her eyes were the most sorrowful I've seen yet, but they were followed by a disbelief look.
She had a perfectly shaped face, with beautiful brown locks of hair that kind of covered one side of her face.

Her body looked pale, as if she hasn't eaten nothing in a long time, but she had enough carnage, once she rested her arm down I see a cut, a pretty deep one. I put down my backpack and grab a water bottle and started cleaning up the injury, I applied pressure with a clean cloth to her arm to stop the bleeding, after a few seconds I dressed the wound.

"Thank you." She said with a little smile this time.

I stood up gathering my things.

"Tell me when you start to feel a little strange, that wound could lead to an infection..." I say.

She stood up, wiped a few tears and handed out her hand.

"I'm Camila, Camila Cabello." She said confidently.

I shook her hand. "Y/n Y/ln."

I handed her my knife and she gave me a weirded out look.

"Do you know how to use it?" I asked her raising an eyebrow.
She shook her head.
"Just hold it in case something happens." I tell her.
We started walking out; now that we were two, and only one of us was able to use a weapon I had to find some kind of vehicle.

"Where are we going now?" I heard Camila say.

"Nowhere in particular... do you know this place?"
I asked stopping my tracks.

"Yes." She said.

"Do you know where is the parking lot?" I asked.

"Yes, it's right this way...stay close to me."
She said slightly afraid.

I started following her directions and I stop her once we reach a corner. I signaled her to stay quiet. I heard other voices, I peek and see a few Roamers trying to get through the door, and the feminine voices kept screaming at each other.

"We have to go get her!"
A raspy voice said.

"We're trying to find a way! But these things against us two without anything to protect ourselves is not possible!"
They had their backs against the door trying their best to keep it closed.

"They're my friends!" I heard Camila whisper. I saw the hope in her eyes. Seeing her like that made me able to have e bit of hope too. Then all of a sudden I hear the door swing open.
