Y/n's Pov

I woke up, and it felt so good, it's been a while since I slept on a bed.

"Oh hey! Rested well?" Alex said passing by.

"Yeah, what time is it?" I ask him

"Well it's 5pm."

"Holy shit, we skipped lunch." I said and Camila woke up too.

"The food is on the table if you want." He said and walked away.

"Morning." Camila said tiredly. I giggle a bit.

"You hungry?" I asked.

"Yes, a little." I stood up and went to her side of the bed and crouched a little and I faced my back, to give her a piggyback. She jumped on my back and I walked towards the kitchen.

"So I have to stab it like this?" I heard Dinah's voice and I checked what was going on.

"No, not that way...watch." Alex was teaching her the right way to stab a lurker. He went behind her and started showing her.

"They're cute." Camila said near my ear.

"Yeah." I said. I kept going and reached the kitchen. I sat her down and I sat across her, Alex prepared something, not sure what is was but it looked good.
We started eating.

Camila's Pov

I was eating till I saw Y/n's necklace.

"That's a pretty necklace." I said.

"Oh thanks...it was my sister's." She gave me a weak smile and I exchanged. We started talking about random things till we finished. She took the plates and put them on the sink. I jumped on her back again and we went upstairs.

"Sup peeps." She said putting me on a couch.
"Aye Y/nN, so how long did you know them?" He asked.

"I mean, I don't actually know them...but I met them like yesterday?" She said scratching the back of her neck.

We explained how everything went.

"Wow sis, never fail on surprising me." They high fived.

"Alright it's time for all of you to rest, we're gonna start walking as soon as the sun is up in the sky." She said as she stood up.

"Why? It looks pretty safe here..." Lauren said.

"It does, but trust me...it won't last long, personal experience..." She said as she walked towards the window looking outside.

"I already see a few over there, they will multiply as soon as we make the slightest noise." She said knocking on the window.

She walked back and helped me stand up, this time it hurt less.

"Better uh?" She said smiling and I nodded, she helped me walk towards the room and I laid down.

"Sweet dreams." She said walking out and the girls followed and laid with me.

"I have a good feeling about them." Dinah said and we agreed, Lauren blew out the lit candles and drifted to sleep.

5:00am

Y/n's Pov

I was on lookout the whole night and then my watch started beeping. I walked towards my backpack and put it on, my brother woke up from the couch and did the same.

He walked to the girl's room and gently woke them up, after a few minutes all of them were out.

"Rise and shine, we're leaving now." I said as I was about to open the door I heard a growl. I stooped and the girls backed up, I glanced at the walker from the window and it was trying to get in. I mentally cursed.

I looked around to check if there was another escape anywhere but nothing was useful.

I looked at Alex and he walked towards me I signaled him to close the door as soon as I grab the lurker into the cabin with my hands and he nodded.

I counted with my hands till 3.
I grabbed the walker and dropped it down on the ground, I took my machete and chopped it's jaw an arms, a horridus smell filled the room, I picked the walker up and opened the door.

"Y/n what the fuck are y-" I shushed him with my finger and walked out, there were many walkers around, I eyed Alex to do the same thing to a walker, he rushed and did what I did earlier. We walked back to the girls with the undead bodies.

"Let's get moving." I said and Dinah helped Camila walk while they were behind Alex and Lauren was beside me.
