Y/n's Pov

A few minutes with me sitting in front of the little deceased guy, I made a small cross out of two sticks and grass and sticked it into the ground...and I decided to get up and walk back inside with my brother.

The girls seemed to be slightly more tranquil.

Normani stood up and approached me.

"Do you want me to show you where is the car?" She said giving me a sad smile.

We started walking back to the road.
There was silence at first but then she decided to break it.

"How did you find them? The girls?" She asked.

"I was wandering around Miami and wanted to check out a building...I first found Camila then Dinah and Lauren were stuck in another room, hell broke, I saved them and here they are!" I said with a smile at the end, an she exchanged.

"You look like a chill person to hang with." She said.

"Oh why, thank you! You too I guess?" She laughed.

"Sooo...what did you do before, you know this happened." She said and I looked at her.

"What is this? 20 questions?" I said chuckling.

"I mean how am I going to know you? What if you're actually a killer and you're low key keeping us hostages?" She said raising an eyebrow, and I grin.

"True, but don't get surprised." I said and she glanced at me curiously.

"I was a toilet keeper." I told her and her eyes widened.

"A-are you serious?" She asked and I nodded.

"Oh...well, how was it like?" She asked weirded out.

"Shitty."

I said and she slapped my arm playfully and started laughing.

"No,I wasn't serious as you can see, I was about to join the military, I had to wait for a few days, but you know..." I told her.

"Well, that's way cooler than the toilet keeper!" She said and I agreed.

We walked and talked with no problem till we reached a small group of lurkers eating a deer.

It looked like they were around 8. We could've ignored them and walked all the way around, but I didn't want any problems while getting to the car.

I took out my machete and gave it Normani, I prepared my crossbow, I aimed and BAM! Took two of them out with one arrow.

"Six to go." I whispered and Mani gulped.

I took two throwing knives and tossed them taking out other two.

"Holy shit, good aim!" She said and I smiled.

"Yeah, want to learn something cool?" I said and she tilted her head.

I whistled and gain their attention, they started walking towards us.

"Y/n what the fuck?!" She whispered.

"Relax, watch and learn!" I said walking towards the first one, I kicked it's knee snapping it, I crushed the other one's brain with my pocket knife backwards, then flipped the knife on my hand again and smashed the one on the ground's cranium.

I turned around and Normani was shaking her head, I laughed and took her, she was in front of the first walker and was holding the machete not doing anything, I walked behind her and held her hands and started swinging the sword.
She smiled.

"We did it!" She said happily.

"Try that one now." I said and she smacked the shit out of it.

"Yeahh! That's what I'm talking about!" I said giving her a high five.

Once we reached the high way we ran towards the car.

"Here it is." She said pointing at it.

I looked at it with amusement.

"Nice car, a range rover evoque?" I said while she unlocked it.

"Thanks! I got it for my birthday and yes it's an evoque!" She said proudly.

"You seem to know your cars." She said and I laughed nodding.

"So what's wrong with it?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, but it stopped working all of a sudden..." She said.

I opened the hood of the car.

"Did you change your battery?" I asked and she started thinking, and I thought she probably didn't.

"Okay, well... We'll have to go check for some batteries around..."

She nodded and we started looking for a battery, I opened hoods after hood for the best one.

"Bingo." I said as I looked at the "DieHard" battery, how sarcastic.

I took it.

"It looks like they had suitcases here!" She said looking at the back of the car.

I put the battery down and opened the trunk.

"It looks like they had useless stuff too, unless you're into used underwear..." I said and she laughed.

"Guys?" I heard and I look up to see Camila.

"CAMILA WATCH OUT!" I screamed.
