Pic of Autumn ;)

Autumn zoomed through the trees, mounted on her small humming bird. It whizzed through the trees and her friend soon caught up at her side yelling, "I'll beat you home !", and laughed. Her friend zoomed ahead and Autumn growled, "Not today !".

Autumn was a small being. She wasn't even exactly sure of her race. All she could call herself was human. But, she knew, the real humans were Giants. Standing way over 20 feet tall. The thought terrified her and twisted her stomach in every way as she thought about it.

Soon, the large humming bird stretched out it's feet and slammed into the dirt ground. It was a tie between Autumn and her friend. The humming bird shook it's feathers and Autumn jumped off. She felt the glares from everyone in the village and waved apologetically as the humming birds shook again, and flew off.

She elbowed her friend playfully who rolled her eyes slightly and said, "It was a tie !". A smile came upon autumn's lips as she spoke, "Oh c'mon, Lena, admit it, I won !". This received quiet sneers and glares from others.

Most people in the village were usually 20+ but some were teenagers. Teenagers were usually despised by others. Most of the people in the village got along. Adults got along with adults, and teenagers got along with teenagers. Same old same old for Autumn and Lena.

They began to shuffle towards home, their small feet kicking into the soft dirt. Autumn entered the house they shared, since neither of them no longer had parents, or anyone who cared for them such as siblings.

Lena plopped into a chair and Autumn walked back out to grab some food rationing's from the main building or . . . Rock house.

She pushed open the leaf door and looked around as everything went silent. She waved again and everyone stared at her features. Long, curly messy brown hair that draped over her shoulders, a dirty white t-shirt, very light blue muddy shorts, crystal blue orbs and no shoes. Shoes were very rare, especially since you had to make them. So nobody really wore shoes.

She walked across the dirt and towards the food rationing for the village. She took a berry and rolled it across the ground outside and towards her house. This Berry was about the size of her.

She pulled it inside and Lena laughed. "Having a hard time there, eh ?", she asked. Autumn huffed and nodded slightly before tearing into the blue berry, giving Lena half. Lena licked her lips and began to eat. Autumn looked at her letting out a giggle and began to eat as well.

Lena finally looked up from her berry and asked, "Do you ever think there could be giants out there ? You know. . . Humans.". Autumn shook her head. "Nah, If there were, don't you think that they would've showed up a long time ago ?", Autumn answered with another question.

It took Lena a bit before she nodded, understanding. As soon as they finished, Autumn pursed her lips and they proceeded out towards the stream.

Once there, they began to wash their hands in the cold clear water. Awkward silence washed over them as they began to walk back towards the village.

When they arrived, they saw the same old same old. Except for one thing, an adult came into sight, yelping and shaking with fear. People immediately cocked their heads over before running over to see what was going on. Autumn and Lena curiously ran over and watched as the man proceeded to hyperventilate, terrified.

Everyone began to try and calm him down and asked what happened, only making him fill with more fear as he yelped, "I-I saw a g-g-giant !".
