Autumn's lips pursed nervously at this. Lena's face drained to a pale color. Are you kidding me !? We should get rid of this monster. Sooner or later., Autumn thought, slamming her fist into her palm in a sign of a fight.

Everyone gasped and asked if this is true, if it's still following him or even started to follow him. He nodded when they asked if he was speaking the truth. Obviously, it wasn't a lie because his face was pale with fear.

This worried everyone even more. Autumn quickly spoke, pushing through the crowd, "I-is he or she following you ?". She couldn't help but stutter a bit because of her fear. He shook his head and relief washed over everyone like a tsunami.

Lena looked to Autumn as she backed out of the crowd. Lena dragged out her away and shook her shoulders whisper yelling, "Do you know what this means !?". Autumn thought for a second before replying, "More adventures ?".

Lena face palmed slightly. "Well Uhm. Only if you want to. But either way, that could be the death of us all ! Giants are so cruel and they are disgusting creatures ! I hate them with every single living cell in my body.", she spat.

Autumn giggled, "Wait to tell that to the giant.". This made Lena huff and suddenly she remembered with a smile saying, "Guess who's birthday is tomorrow ?". Autumn smiled. "Yours.", Autumn replied and Lena jumped up and down yelling slightly, "yep !". She watched as Lena Went back to the house.

Autumn looked over at the man who had calmed down slightly and walked home, everyone returning to what they were doing. Slowly, Autumn looked to the sky which was now getting darker. With a sigh, she began to shuffle home with Lena.

She came in the house with only two rooms and went into the other room with Lena's and her. . . Bed. Autumn changed into her other night clothes which was just a soft mouse fur blanket like over her skin. She plopped onto her bed feeling the rabbit fur.

It was usual for her now but they were the proper size to actually catch any large animals. These skins were found and we bought them.

Slowly, Autumn closed her eyes and drifted to sleep, snoring softly.

-

Autumn felt Lena poke her in the arm groaning, "Wake up already !". Autumn sighed, sat up and opened her eyes. Lena grinned and shoved her playfully, going outside.

Autumn stretched and came out of bed. She looked at the same clothes on the rack and grabbed a small makeshift dress made of leaves. She hummed and pulled it onto her body before grabbing the clothes and quickly walking back down to the creek.

She plopped her clothes in the water and stared at them as the mud washed off into the water. She pulled them out after a bit, pulled off her dress and put them back on. Wet or not, she was going to wear them.

Autumn arrived back in the village and looked around before her mind snapped to making a cake for Lena. It was weird because they didn't have any cake batter, so it was usually a small pile of chopped strawberries and other small fruits.

-

Autumn arrived back in the village with a raspberry, blue berry and a strawberry. She rolled these across the ground and into her house with a sigh. She began to chop parts of them in small pieces, but saved large portions of it.

She began stacking these on a large piece of bark. Birthday's were usually celebrated alone. She put the cake on the tiny wooden table and sighed, "I really hope she likes it. I made her this gift too.". She pulled a small woven basket from a shelf that was well woven together and set it on the table. Just on time almost, Lena burst through and grinned almost tackling Autumn with a hug.

Autumn laughed and began to pull the small cake apart and put some on a bark plate for Lena. Both gobbled it down and stared out the window next to the table as the sun set again. Autumn sighed and began to shuffle into her room followed by Lena.

Both of them plopped onto their beds and Lena grinned again speaking, "Thank you so much, Autumn.". Autumn nodded bad felt her eyes close into a deep sleep already.
