Ch. 8 ~His Maiden, Desired~

Claude started to leave to go outside and just before Sebastian went to follow he turned to Mystery. Ciel was in deep thought and looked in another direction, most likely watching Alois talk with the guests. Sebastian could tell Mystery was nervous with Sebastian going with Claude. Sebastian lightly smiled and placed his hand on her cheek. "Don't worry for me. I shall make it back in one piece, my love." Sebastian assured her then kissed her on her forehead. Sebastian turned and followed Claude outside and all that while, Mystery watched him leave...

 The full moon shined over the small lake near the Trancy manor. Claude and Sebastian stood from a distance from each other on the port. "You are persistent people, hunting my young master so relentlessly." Sebastian glared as he said this. "My master ordered it. 'Steal Ciel Phantomhive from Sebastian Michaelis.'" Claude simply said. "He is MY young master." Sebastian said on the edge of growling. Claude examined over his gloved hand. "The feel of him... One rarely encounters something so fine." "Just remembering that someone other than myself has touched him makes me sick" Sebastian says narrowing his eyes on Claude, "With your sticky white spider's threads, you defiled his..." 

 Claude removed his glasses, "Ciel Phantomhive's..." "Soul..." they both said. Sebastian ran to him and punched Claude, but then Claude appeared behind Sebastian and punched him harder. Claude looked around then turned sharply behind him to find Sebastian mockingly smirking at him. The two jumped high in the air as they circled and hit one another.

 The bell's rings faintly stopped and the crow flapped its wings as it soared away. However, a spider crawled on top of its head. The crow was now at a far distance and the spider had gotten away.

 Sebastian stared shockingly down at Ciel's lifeless body. "...What is this?" Sebastian muttered. Sebastian stumbled back a few steps then turned and managed a few more steps. But then he went down to his knees and held his head down in anger. "My.... young master... is empty..." Sebastian's balled up his fists and the concrete ground beneath him, cracked and crumbled. Sebastian's dark aura surrounded him, and the building around them crumbled and exploded leaving nothing but dust and dark smoke as it floated more up into the sky. 

 Through the smoke, even with Sebastian's aura surrounding him in anger, he carried Ciel's empty body out of the ruins.

 "That day, you stole him from me. My precious young master's soul..."

 "But it wasn't complete. Not with just his soul. The body is necessary, too." Claude said as the circled each other, walking on top of the water. "And then you came here." "Yes. I retrieved his soul from you. And yet, he is still not my young master." Sebastian said as he remembered putting the blue ring on his finger and Ciel opened his eyes. Sebastian had gasped from Ciel's eyes.

 Claude kicked his foot against the water creating a water tornado towards Sebastian. Sebastian did the same move also and the two water cyclones clashed against each other, sending the two butlers splashing into the water and the cyclones were gone. 

 "Ciel Phantomhive only lost part of his memories, and the pain he lived through." Claude said. Sebastian resurfaced and he was all soaked, but still able to fight. "My young master's soul, which I so carefully cultivated..." Sebastian says. "Ah, I thought so. What you want is a soul that's had its revenge." Claude said as he immediately resurfaced behind Sebastian and grabbed his throat from behind. "You have a fierce obsession with that soul." Sebastian chuckled. "Of course. I am a demon. And you have a master as well, don't you?" Sebastian says.
