Bryce Hastings is the most athletic guy the group has. He is a football and baseball star. His dad makes sure that no matter what he is always on his A game. His dad is that parent who lives through their child. Pressure was always on Bryce to be the best (Sounds like Elie's parents.) when he tells his dad he wants to quit football and baseball it doesn't go so well.

Flashback:
"Dad it's just a sport!" Bryce yelled.

"Just a sport?!" Mr. Hasting's said in shock. "This is your life! You are going to college because of these sports."

"Exactly! I need to prove i'm not just brawns." Bryce said defending himself.

"You don't understand what you are doing son. You're throwing away your life." Mr. Hasting said with disappointment.

"No dad i'm throwing away your life." Bryce said before answering a call from Blair.

"Hello." Bryce said.

"Hey, i'm ready to go." Blair said.

"Oh, ok I'll be right there." He said walking past his father and straight out the door. He got in his car and hung up the phone. He drove to Blair's to pick her up.

Now:
They were now around a campfire.

"I guess Boy Scouts comes in handy Ranger Rick." Aria said to Luke.

"Well you could be freezing but you're not, thanks to me." Luke said

Blair was sitting inbetween Bryce's legs snuggled up to him by the fire.

The sitting arrangement was Bryce and Blair, Elie, River, Aria then Luke.

"Sometime I wish we could run away and never come back." Elie said looking at the fire.

Most of the group nodded their heads in agreement.

"Then why don't we." Luke said

"Are you kidding?" Blair asked.

"No i'm not. You guys are always saying this stuff. So why not do it?" Luke said bringing up valid points.

"Well reason one: most of us have families dumbass." Of course Aria said that.

"Yeah Bro I have a little sister." River said.

"So, bring her." Luke said nonchalantly. "Look nothing ever happens to us in this small town without anyone knowing about it. Don't you guys wanna have a crazy story to tell years from now?" Luke asked trying to persuade them.

"Ok, so assume we do go, where would we live? How would we live?" Elie asked.

"Both of your parents are surgeons, Blair's dad is a lawyer and her mom is a therapist. We think you could pull some money."  Luke said.

"Ok. I'm in." Aria said.

"Really?" Luke asked smiling at her.

"Yeah. I got nothing better to do." She said.

"Ok that's two." Luke said.

"Well if Aria's in then so am I. I go where ever she goes." Elie said.

"Bryce?" Luke asked with optimism.

"What the hell." He said caving.

"Come on River, your sister is 7 we can bring her along and then drop her off at your grandparents." Elie said practically begging him to join.

"She would be better at my grandparents than with my dad." He said pondering. "Ok count me in." He said.

"All that's left is Blair." Luke said up to the challenge. "Blair do something crazy for once in your life." He said convincing her.

"I still don't know you guys." She said hesitantly.

"Come on take a chance. You'll never know anythibg until you try it." Elie said.

"Think about how worried our parents would be." She said scared.

"Blair take a leap of faith." Elie continued.

"Ok, but if we get in trouble it's on you gus." She said.

"Ok. Fine by me." Luke said carelessly.

"So it's settled." Bryce said smiling. "Meet at Reds at 7 am and bring only essentials." He said.

"Ok." They said in agreementz

Were they really about to do this? Well you'll have to stick around and watch it unfold.
