I grab a handfull of knives, slowly turning to face the dummies who soon will be "dead". The trainer press some button and a green sign starts to blink, signaling me to get ready.
The first dummy lights up to my left so I throw my knife with my right hand. Bullseye. Well, what did I expect? The next dummy lights up right infront of me, too easy. I throw the knife and almost immediately the next dummy lights up, this time far to my right. I throw the knife without even looking that way and I hear a few gasps. Heh. They're losers all of them.
In the corner of my eye, I see the trainer press another button and suddenly the dummies starts moving. Hah, he thought that was going to be hard for me. I hear Cato laugh in the background and I smirk deadly. They don't know how good I am.
The moving dummies are too easy for me so the trainer press another button and the dummies start coming against me, all at the same time. A little trickier but still not hard enough. I slice, stab and throw my knives and soon they're gone. I frown a bit when I realize all the knives are sitting in the dummies hearts (all of them in bullseye) and there's no more knives and still the rest of the dummies keep coming at me. I sigh and shrugger, I guess i just have to punch them. So that's what I do. Though it's not so funny because all you have to do is kick or punch at the heart hard enough an then they're "dead".
I finish the dummies and turn to face the other tributes. Most of them look horrified, some of them has a blank face but I can see that they're trembeling. I walk over to my allies and laugh at their exprecions. Well, except Cato's. He knows that this isn't even half of my talent.
"Wow, Clove! You're...awesome!" Marvel says and I high five him.
"So I've been told." I say and grin.
The rest of the training we do nothing more intresting. We walk from station to station. I try out spears again, and apparently I'm a natural, according to Marvel. I also try out archery (which I sucked at, according to Glimmer), and I actually went to the sword station. But when Cato saw me there - and immediately headed over to me - I left. Me and my allies also learned a bit about eddible plants and how to make a fire and stuff like that.
When the clock turns 6 pm, our first training day has come to an end. And I'm exhausted. Completely exhausted. Who would have thought scaring other kids would be so exhausting. Well, at least we got something out of it. Now, every tribute (i think every tribute) is scared of us, so now our mission is completed, yay! Okay, maybe not.
"So, what are we going to do tomorrow?" Cato asks Brutus and Enobaria - who were much pleased with our success today - as we sit at the dinner table.
"Well, there's nothing more you can do at training. So I guess you can do whatever you want." Enobaria says and Brutus nods in agreement.
We talk a bit more and then I walk away from the table to take a shower. When I stand under the pouring water my thoughts wander of to Clary and i wonder how she's doing right now. If she's sitting on the couch, watching the replays of every clip just to remind herself that I'm alive. Well, that's what I would've done if she was the one stuck here.
I step out of the shower and throw my self on the bed, falling asleep almost immediately.
