Chapter 9: His Magic

Normal POV:

The whole guild stopped. No one moved. It was so quiet you can hear a tear drop. Mirajane and Juvia quickly ran towards the injured Erza. They were the only ones moving. "What j-just happened?" Wendy asked softly. Gajeel shook in fear. Natsu stood behind Lucy in aw.

"What was that?" Gray asked. When we all came back to reality, the dragon slayers stood in front of Zena. She was confused. Gajeel picked up Zena by her shirt like a cat. Makarov finally got involved.

"Zena," he began as Gajeel dropped her. "Who are you really?" His tone was deep. Lucy jumped over the rope that was around the battle field. She bent down next to Zena. She placed her hand over her shoulder.

"Mama what's going on?" She said while hugging Lucy. Cana then showed up from behind the crowd. Her eyes were filled with fear and sorrow.

"That magic felt like h-his." She said with no expression. She feel to the ground  shortly after. "That's the same magic that Acnologia used on us!" She shouted. Her eyes watering from fear.

"I thought that Nirvana magic was the only magic you have?" Makarov stated. Speaking for each of his children. Zena pulled away from Lucy and stood up.

"I never said that!" She shouted, "All I said was that is don't know the name of my magic!" She finished her sentence. Lucy began to stand up until Natsu helped her up. He towered over Zena. His eyes scary.

"How do you have his magic?!" Natsu screamed. Zena was terrified. "Zena you are member of Fairy Tail, meaning we trust one another. So why are you lying about your magic?" He asked. He was claiming down now that Lucy had a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm not lying. I swear!" Zena backed away from the crowd. "My magic doesn't have a name because I was born with magic. Unlike regular wizards who train and are taught magic." She looked at the ground.

"Born with magic?" Romeo questioned. Wendy next to him.

"Come child, we can discuss this in private." Then Freed stepped forward.

"We all respect, we should discuss this as a guild." He said with pride. Makarov nodded.

"Born or taught that doesn't explain why you have Acnologia's magic." Natsu said again. He was eager to get an answer. Zena stared at him. She smiled and started laughing. "What's so funny?" His tone serious.

"Because the question is silly!"
She was still laughing. "The reason why I have his magic is because Acnologia was the one who taught me! I was born will Nirvana magic but taught his magic." She has a cute grin on her face.

Lucy's POV:

Black Dragon Slayer Magic. That is what Zena had. That little girl in front of us, the girl that loves me, the girl I care for, the Fairy Tail wizard before us... is the worlds most powerful wizard. And she didn't even know it. The dragon that trained her wiped out an island with one blast. And if that wasn't bad enough, it was Zeref himself who turned Acnologia into a dragon. "You you mean you know Acnologia?" I asked.

"Well duh!" She was acting like a kid. I can't blame her, she is one. "My papa and Acnologia are good friends. But he can be a little mean and scary." She pouted. I turned to Master. He was taking in all of her answers.

"Everyone except Zena is the guild hall now!" He shouted. I looked back at Zena and she was upset. When we were all in the guild, master stood on a table and started speaking. "Listen Brats! I didn't want to believe it but I do now. Zena is a powerful and dangerous wizard. She is only a child and doesn't know her own strengths. That is why it's important that we take care of her. We will not question her on her magic or family. And we will not mention what Acnologia did to us, understand?" We were all silence but nodded as one. Master took a deep breathe and continued his speaking. "Finally, I leave Zena is the hands of Lucy." I gasped. "Zena has already grown a liking to you. Natsu, Gray, and Erza are responsible for going now missions with her. And I will train her magic, understand?" We nodded again and opened the doors back up to our newest guild member.

Zena's POV:

I don't like being alone! Why did they all going inside and leave me? Did I do something wrong? All I did was answer there questions. And why were they so mad and me having different magic? I sat down on the ground and waited for them. I miss Papa. He would never leave me alone! While I was waiting I decided to draw a picture in the dirt. I took a near by stick and began drawing in the dirt. After about 5 minutes they came out with everyone smiling. "Let's go home Zena." Mama said smiling I nodded and grabbed her hand.

Makarov's POV:

After the girls walked home I felt so much better. "You okay Gramps?" I turned around to see Natsu, Gray and Erza.

"I'm sure everything is going to fine." I told them. I hate lying to my children but I hate worrying them more. Oh dear Mavis please protect my children from the child of another!
