Chapter 18: Its Time We Protect Her

Natsu POV:

I take a big sniff of the air. I get a strong smell of strawberries and vanilla. Lucy! "She close by I can smell her!" I tell my group. Finally we reach a room with double doors. "She's in her." I tell them. I look down and spot a huge lock on the fire with chains around it.

"Let me handle that." Gray said getting in his ice-make stance. "Ice-make freeze!" He shouted. The lock and chains turned light blue. It was ice. Next Elfman pounded on the chains and lock which made them break. The doors opened slowly revealing Zena and Lucy sleeping.

Normal POV:

The doors broke down and Zena woke up from her sleep to see Natsu in the door way. "What?!" She yelled. She stood up and walked over to the door way. "I don't care how to not pasted my brothers and sisters but your not taking Mama away from me!" She stomps her foot.

"Listen Zena all we want is L-" Romeo said while walking into the room. But the magic barer that Zena step up before launched him back into the wall.

"A magic barer!" Levy then stepped forward until she not on her hands and knees and began to inspect the barer. Natsu was getting very impatient!

"This is going to take forever!" He screamed. Suddenly he ran straight for the barer and full speed. The barer doesn't move but Natsu does. Natsu got through the barer.

"How the hell did you do that!?" Zena squealed. "That barer was made so only demons created by Papa can get thr-" she paused. Her eyes widened and looked up to Natsu who was now standing over her. He picked her up by the neck and threw her against the wall. Then ran over to Lucy.

"Lucy wake up." He whispered. The others watching from the outside. "Lucy?" She was still unconscious from her fight. "What did you do to Lucy?" Tears began to fall from his face. Fire leaked from his eyes. He turned to Zena still on the floor.

"I-I didn't d-do anything." She stood up. "She is just u-unconscious." She decided to leave the rest part out. Natsu grabbed Lucy bridal style.

"I'll take her back. You go tell the guild that we have what we came for." He gave orders to his group which they followed. Natsu then gave a loud whistle and Happy came from the window. "Let's go home Happy!" He smiled and jumped out of the window and Happy quickly caught him by his scarf.

"Aye!" Happy shouted while flying away from the palace.

Zena's POV:

"No!" I cried trying to get up. "Mama!" Tears steaming down my face. It burned. My chest, my tears, and my injuries. I managed to get up and walk to where the demons shooing Fairy Tail away.

"Young Mistress!" Jackal shouted when he saw me. My clothes were dirty and I had blood dripping from my arms. "What on Earth happened!?" My tears came again and I fell to the floor but immediately wrapped in many arms.

"It's Mama!" They all looked worried. "She was taken away from me!" Jackal stood me up and Kyoka held my bridal style. Suddenly Papa came from his room.

"I wouldn't worry Zena," he said. Kyoka passed me over to him and he held me in his warm arms. "She'll be back don't worry, child!" He smiled and rubbed his nose on mine.

"Okay Papa." I calmly said.

Normal POV:

They finally got back to the guild and Happy dropped Natsu in front of the doors. Lucy still in his arms he bursted through the door. "Your back!" Erza shouted with a smile. Her smiled turned warm when her eyes meet Lucy.

"Bring her in the infirmary." Mira said to Natsu pointing to the door. The rest of the guild got there and team Natsu came into the room. Mavis appeared next to Lucy.

"Lucy is only unconscious from injuries. She will be just fine. Bring in Wendy!" She ordered. Her glow stopped and she looked like a normal person.

"I'm here Master Mavis!" Wendy entered the room with a little white exceed. Wendy and Mavis looked at each other then at Lucy. "I'll do my best!" Carla shooed everyone else out of the room for Wendy to concentrate. Her hands had a light blue aura around them, and she placed them on top of Lucy's chest. Much like Zena did to create the Dark Fairy. Wendy whispered many spells to herself that Carla couldn't even hear. "Now rise and be cured of your illness at the daughter of the sky dragon says." She took her hands away and looked at Carla with worried eyes.

"I'm sure she'll be just fine child, you did your best." Carla hid her face "I really don't care if she is better or not." She whispered. Wendy walked over to Carla and picked her up.

"Don't say things like that!" She shouted. "Lucy is our friend and we all will do anything to help her. I mean, she was there for us when Cait Shelter vanished right?" Carla closed her eyes and laid on Wendy's arms.

"I guess I do owe her that much." She finally admitted. Lucy then started to switch slowly. Her eyes were heavy and she tried to hard to open them. After a small battle with herself Lucy opened her eyes slowly and quickly sat up.

"What!" She shouted. Natsu and Mavis then bursted thought the door when heard Lucy's voice. She removed the blanket and jumped off the bed into a fight stance. She was in the corner of the room with Mavis, Natsu and Wendy all around her. "Why did you bring me here?" Lucy ordered for an answer. Before anyone can give what she wanted the guild was split in half, again.

"Mama!"

"Lady Lucy!" It was Jackal and Zena to the rescue. She smiled and ran to them. "You ready to fight?" He asked with a grin on his face.

"Hell yeah!"
