Chapter 15: Its Been 2 Weeks

This takes place 2 weeks after Lucy and Zena arrived at Zeref's Palace

Lucy's POV:

I began to wake up and saw Zena sleeping next to me, cuddled into my chest. I shook her softly. "Zena wake up." Then Kyoka walked into my room.

"Good morning Lady Lucy, their is breakfast in the hall and I was told to tell you that today is the day." I gave her an evil grin that she gladly returned. She picked Zena up and carried her out of bed.

After about 5 minutes of getting ready me and Zena outed the doors to the dinning hall. Each demon was seated at the table in their same spots. They stood when we entered. "Good morningLady Lucy and Mistress Zena." They all said in unison. Finally Zeref walked in and the demons bowed. We did you. He laughed at me.

"Lady Lucy you don't need to bow! Your my very best friend. The only human that can withstand being around me." He continued to laughed. My face turned red. I know this because Franmalth pointed it out.

"How much is your face Lady Lucy? How much, priceless!" He laughed. The others smiled.

"S-shut up! Before I hurt you!" I pouted. Zena laughed and a list fell off her chair.

"Now now." Keyes said. "Family doesn't hurt each other. But speaking of which today we will see how powerful Lady Lucy really is." He smiled at me which I returned.

"No problem!" I giggled. Then dug into my breakfast without a second thought. Once again Seilah has out done herself. It's crazy how about 2 years ago I wanted nothing but to kill them. And now their my closest thing to family. Fairy Tail was once my family but for some strange reason I hate them! Erza, Wendy, Levy, Gray all of them. But Natsu. I don't love him but I don't hate him. It's like Fairy Tail was the cause of my years of suffering. And they should all pay!

After breakfast me and Zena were brought out to the court yard where a huge obstacle course stood. Tempester put his hands behind his back and began talking. "Listen well Lady Lucy for I will only explain once. This is you 1st challenge. You will go through this course in less then 3 minutes. Finally at the end you will fight me." I blanked out. 1st challenge, meaning theirs more?! And fight that! I took a deep breath and nodded. I took my position.

"Ready... set... go!" Zena shouted.

Normal POV:

Lucy entered the course only to be greeted by brick walls spinning at a high speed. Lucy quickly jumped up and landed on top of the center of the spinning walls. She then jumped from center to center balancing on the small metal sphere. Finally she jumped to the ground safe from the spinning death trap. "Looks like my physical ability is better including on magic." Lucy whispered to herself while running to the next trap.  Suddenly a net came up from the ground. Luckily Lucy sensed it and hopped out of the way just in time. She began to run again until she was stopped by a laser grid. Laser beams bounced back and forth between a small hallway. "Dark speed!" She again shouted. A black aura surrounded her. She now had super speed  for the moment. She blazed through the lasers with no problem. Then finally ran to the end of the course still with her super speed.

"2:24" Tempester said. He got into a fighting stance and the two battles it out.

"Black beam!" A huge black beam shot from Tempester hitting him in the leg. He bent over to the other good leg. He ran to Lucy and she jumped onto the demons back. "Needles of darkness!" She shouted as she raised her hands and appeared black pins. They then flew into Tempester and made him fall to the ground in defeat

"Yeah Mama!" Zena cried while being held by Zeref.

"Congratulations Lady Lucy." Zeref said happily. "But next comes your 2nd challenge." Seilah then dragged me by the arm to the court yard on the other side of the palace. Their stood a fighting arena. In it was a magic test dummy.

"This dummy is used for magic training. It will pose the face of a wizard and it will attack you with about 3/4 percent of their magic powerful. Your challenge is to defeat 3 members of Fairy Tail." Lucy nodded and got into the arena facing the dummy. Suddenly the dummy shares changing its appearance. Gray. And the match of on. Lucy ran up to Gray and punched him in the gut that sent him flying to the other side of the ring.

"Ice make Bazooka!" He shouted. Lucy easily dodged the ice coming straight for her she then jumped up in the air and shouted her move.

"Black Laser!" As expected a black thin lasermade a direct hit in the Grays had he been fell to the floor and the dummy turned back to normal. "One down two to go!" She said.
