Coulson drove Lola down the street with a smirk and three big sacks of warm food, which he'd made sure not to set in the seats in case grease leaked through the bottom. He pulled up to Stark tower and parked the car, got out, and patted the hood of the car as he walked by, making sure to lock the car.

The receptionist looked up when he walked in, and he nodded to her. She looked back down to her work, and he stepped in the elevator. It was awkwardly quiet for the next 47 seconds, save for some rock music playing in the background courtesy of Stark, you know, before what ever happened happened.

When he got back, he found Maria telling at the kids, who were all either wide-eyed, looking down in shame, or (in Tony's case) completely uninterested. Her hair was tangled, and her hands were curled up into fists. She turned around faster than a bullet when she heard the door click closed.

"COULSON," she shouted angrily. His eyes widened and he sat the food down. The kids all immediately attacked the food, tearing sacks open and fighting over food. "I got you all the same thing, calm down," Phil called to them as Maria dragged him into another room.

"WHAT. THE. HELL," Hill shouted at him, followed by a chorus of warnings from the kitchen about her language. Phil shrugged, a smirk barely noticeable on his face. "I had to take care of them by myself for like three days," he justified, and she scoffed. "When they were little and adorable! Now they're like eleven!"

"Now they understand more things and can do things for them themselves," he half-heartedly argued, and it kind of sound like a question. "Never. Again."

They went back into the kitchen only to find fries all over the floor, Steve covered in ketchup and on the verge of tears, Thor eating everyone else's food, Clint and Natasha throwing fries and ketchup packets at eachother, Bruce cleaning some of the mess up, and Tony trying really hard to make his cheeseburger look like a robot. "What's going on in here," Phil shouted, concerned.

"Uh...nothing," responsed Clint and Natasha in unison while they immediately stopped throwing things. Thor grabbed Tony's cheeseburger and took a huge bite, successfully pissing the billionaire off and earning a string of curse words from him. Steve finally started crying and sniffling when Tony cussed Thor out, and Bruce' s eyes widened as he listened to the speech.

Maria ran over and put a hand over Tony's mouth while Coulson, being the ultimate Captain America fan, ran over to Steve and started apologizing and cleaning him up. When they thought neither of the agents were looking, Natasha and Clint resumed their fast food war.

Eventually, Hill and Coulson had gotten everything straightened out. Somehow, everyone seemed to have gotten enough to eat, even though Thor had eaten most the food. Tony was in time-out for his behavior, and was secretly playing Happy Jump on his Stark Phone while no one was looking. Steve had gone to sleep, and Thor was playing with a toy hammer he'd found somewhere. Clint and Natasha had made a fort and were currently hiding in it, while Bruce sat in the corner opposite to Tony's reading a book.
