Yeah-Yeah Imagine

A/n: does Yeah-Yeah's sister even have a name? Would it be okay if I made up a name for her? Or should I just refer to her as his sister? This is important

I got up from the floor. Great. I fell off my bed again. Today's gonna be GREAT. I put on my old baseball jersey, and jeans. Then I walked down to Alan McClellan's house. Not to see him, but to see his sister. His sister is my best friend. He was OKAY, but I wasn't too fond of him. All I knew was that he's like best friends with my brother's best friend. Yes it's complicated, here's the other way, yeah-yeah is friends with Benny, who is best friends with my brother. I actually know too much about him, hes actually a good friend of me, so I lied about barely knowing him and stuff whatever. I got to Yeah Yeah's house and knocked on the door, his sister answered. "My annoying brother is already with his friends so we're not gonna be bothered" she said in a nonchalant tone
"Okay..."

~two hour time skip~
"Seriously, Y/n you HAVE to like SOMEONE, you know I sorta like my brothers friend 'squints', so who do you li- Why are you home? I thought you were off with your friends playing baseball?" She said, saying baseball like it's a disease
"Hi, Y/n"
"Hi"
"You didn't answer my question" she said rolling her eyes
"Benny hit a homer and it went over the fence to the beast, so we can't play no more"
"Really? That kid is gonna go somewhere" I gasped in amazement, he would almost always have a new story about what happened to the ball and why he's home so early.
"Yeah, yeah, and Smalls almost went overboard and tried to get the ball, so we're gonna stay in the tree house tonight, because he didn't understand" he said, sitting down with a coke
"Hello? Y/n, you're talking to my annoying idiot brother and ignor- ohh okay, I see who it is nowww" she said smirking. Was she referring to our earli- OH NO
"Oh no, no, no" I said with a disgusted face.
Yeah Yeah was sitting there cconfused
"What are you all talking about?"
"Well before you rudely walked into the house, me and Y/n were talking about wh-" I clamped my hand over her mouth
"Talking about... nothing? We were sitting in silence (a/n and now i just sit in silence) "
"That's weird, and a lie" his sister said removing my hand
"Yeah yeah, that is pretty weird. DON'T TELL ME YOU CAN TAME THE BEAST?"
"You wouldn't be avoiding it if it wasn't true"
"Ummm"
"SO SHE CAN TAME THE BEAST?"
"No, Yeah Yeah, she can't... I don't think"
"No, I can't tame the beast, and no to what you're thinking." To be perfectly honest... I had a huge crush on Yeah Yeah, we were so similar, and he's cute and stuff so why not? But I don't want Yeah Yeah to think I do or do not like him, so I don't want him to know what we're talking about. And OF COURSE I can't let his sister know how I feel, I doubt she would tell him, but she could tease me about it, or even kick me out and tell me to "stay away from her and her brother" like she did to her old friend, Marcia
"But what if I did?"
"Tame the beast?"
"No, I'm talking to your sister"
"I wouldn't tell anyone, but I would make it pretty obvious and tea- shouldn't we be talking about this privately?"
"Yeah, yeah, if you're not gonna tell me what you're talking about, then move along (a/n all American rejects reference?) "
~they went up to her room~
"So you really do like him? Like my brother?" She said as soon as we walked in the door, whispering brother in case he was listening
"Well yeah, there's not much to it"
"But seriously? I kinda guessed it, but I brushed it away because it's Yeah Yeah we're talking about"
"Yeah, bu-"
"Mom said she wants you t- why is your room so clean?" He said, losing grasp of what he was going to say originally, inviting himself in
"Nevermind, I'll go, squints is outside so I gotta go" then he walked out of the room and closed the door like nothing ever happened
We were talking more about it, but her, being an idiot used his name as much as possible because "he's not there to hear, and she has to say it so she believes it herself". We heard some scuffling around, but we assumed it was the cat they managed to keep, somehow, because Yeah Yeah ALWAYS leaves the door open.
She wasn't paying attention, but I started paying closer attention to the scuffling, which was quite a problem for her
"So you re- are you real-"
"Mhm"
"Bu-"
"Shhhh just listen"
"FIIINE"
"that's totally being quiet"
We ended up hearing whispering, but we couldn't make it out, until she opened up the door, and Benny, Squints, and Yeah Yeah fell in her room
"Care to explain?" She said, trying not to giggle from the sight of the boys toppled over on each other
I sat there frozen, my face red, we were talking pretty loud, and they were probably sitting there the whole time. So they probably knew I like Yeah Yeah. And that means Yeah Yeah know I like him, and Squints is never gonna stop teasing me about it
"I told you she likes you Yeah Yeah" Benny said
"She did say it herself" Squints said, grinning at me so he knew I knew he knew
"Yeah, yeah, but she proba-"
"No Yeah Yeah (a/n "but you're still part of the game, right?") She didn't know we were there, and neither did your sister, she probably REALLY does like you, do you like him, Y/n?"
Said Benny, looking at me, sincerely trying to help me and Yeah Yeah
"Yeah, I mean, I guess, I mean yeah"
"See?"
Yeah Yeah walked up to me
"You wanna go out with me sometime? Like maybe not on a real date, but to hang out? Without my dorky sister?"
"Su-"
"I'm not dorky"
"I'll go out with you"
