Chapter 15: Midnight Clad

Ted continued digging the hole that would soon become Eddy's grave. Ev stood by watching. Bob watched from inside the Y. Jim was inside in his room trying not to freak out. Jakob had locked Adam in a room and Gen in another room. Jakob said he'd deal with them later. After Eddy's body was buried everyone came out and paid their respects. Jakob left some pieces of his old axe there. After everyone had left Ev stayed. Jim and Ted also stayed at the grave. Ev caught a glimpse of something by the nearby houses but when he looked over at them he couldn't see anything. Ted and Jim left an hour later. Ev stayed at the grave. He hadn't known Eddy a whole lot but he did know he was a good person. He got up and went inside for the night. That night no one spoke at dinner. After dinner everyone went to their rooms. On the way to his room Ev stopped. He wanted to say something to Maddie but he decided it could wait till morning. No one could sleep that night. Jakob sat by Adam's prison room to make sure Adam was behaving. Hours past and Ev got up and started to walk around the Y. He walked for about an hour. He pasted by the front doors on the cat walk and saw something. He leaned over the railing to get a closer look. He realized what it was but before he could say anything a gun shot sounded. Glass went flying everywhere. There was a man at the front. The man stepped inside and unlocked the other door and opened it. Sickos began to pour in and the man disappeared into the Y. Ev immediately shot up and started gathering up people. Jakob went to the top of the stairs and started hacking away at the sickos. Bob pulled out his glock and started firing into the group. Ev had gotten everyone to the exit in the back of the Y.
"Stay here" said Ev
He then ran off into the Y. He was gonna find whoever caused this. The hooded mysterious man. He ran by Adam's room and saw he was still in there. He opened the door with a key.
"Come on"! Yelled Ev
Adam got up and ran out.
"Go to the back exit" said Ev
He then went to the next room which still had Gen in it. The door had been busted down and the sickos were crawling towards her. Adam sat there helplessly but Ev ran in. He drew forth his knives and started to stab the sickos. He killed about seven before he got to her.
"Get out of here "! Said Ev
Gen ran for Adam and they ran for the exit. Ev saw a hooded figure run down another hallway. Ev took off in hot pursuit. He could hear gunshots echoing through the Y. He caught sight of the hooded figure climbing out a window. The hooded was black and had some design on it. Ev wanted to follow him but he had to go help the others. Jakob threw a sicko over his shoulder and bashed it's head in. Bob reloaded his pistol and shot another sicko in the head. The lobby was covered in the bodies of sickos. Ted came in with Jakob's old baseball bat and took out another sicko. Bob grabbed one by the head and smashed it against the wall. The smell of blood was starting to get to Jakob. The reeking smell of decayed flesh is what bothered Bob. Ev got to the exit with the remaining people.
"Let's go" said Ev
Everyone went out the exit into the back of the Y. Ev lead them around the back of the Y. He killed a couple of sickos by the front. He looked into the Y and saw Jakob and Bob heading his way. The two of the came out through the door way. Ev turned around to see if everyone was there.
"Wait." Said Ev
"What"? Asked Jakob
"Maddie's missing " said Ev
Ev pushed through the little crowd and went back to the exit. He couldn't find her but then he saw it. Tracks in the mud. Two sets. One wasn't really a footprint, it looked like someone was being dragged. He looked at where they went and he saw they went into the neighborhood nearby.
