Chapter 11: Echoing Shots

Jakob walked into the Y cheering with the joy of winning.
"Nice"! Said Ev
Bob had quickly joined in the cheering.
"Yeah"!
Adam had been dragged off the field to the car and was taken back to the elementary school. Gen fixed him with their medical supplies. Ted, Jim and Eddy prepared their stuff. The agreement decided on was that if Jakob won the three guys had to come back and bring some supplies with them.
"See ya..." said the three as they left
They started their long walk to the Y. Jakob continued yelling in joy as he paraded up and down the halls. Ev went up and sat on the special walkway of his. Bob went out to meet the three people heading to the Y halfway to make sure they would be okay. As Bob walked he saw something in the window in one of the houses in the near by neighborhood. The thing quickly disappeared into the house before he could get a better look. Ev then looked over at Jakob who had come out of his room with an assault rifle.
"Whoa what are you doing "? Asked Ev
"Finishing off Adam " said Jakob darkly
"Dude you beat him it's all good now" said Ev
"No" continued Jakob
He then walked out of the Y and started heading for the elementary school. Bob snuck up on a sicko and grabbed it's head. He then bashed it against a car door. He saw two more coming down the road. He pulled out Jakob's old baseball bat and headed towards them. He approached the first one and smashed it's head. The second one's head exploded. Bob saw Jim holding a pistol.
"There you guys are" said Bob
"How much farther " ? asked Ted
"A little ways" said Bob
He turned and started walking towards the Y. He didn't hear Eddy come up behind him. Eddy grabbed his arms and pulled him to the ground.
"What the-" said Bob as Eddy attacked him
"Okay let's move we have Bob now we just need to deal with Ev and Jakob " said Jim
"This is wrong " said Ted
Before Jim could answer a bullet blew by. Jim looked over and saw Jakob sitting on top of a car with his rifle. Jakob opened fire and they spat about Jim's position. One hit Jim in the shin and he fell down. Ted raised his hands to surrender. Jakob was about to blow his brains out but saw Adam driving up the road. He then turned and fired at Adam. Multiple shots hit the car, one busted out the window. Adam got out and started shooting back at Jakob. Jakob hopped down off the car and took cover. Ev climbed over the railing of the road and started climbing towards Adam. Gen climbed out of the car.
"No get back in the car"! Yelled Adam
A shot flew through the air and hit Gen in the leg. She yelped in pain and fell over. Adam ran over to help her.
"Stop"! Yelled Adam
Jakob paused
"Why"? He asked
"Please " pleaded Adam
A sicko came around the car and went for Adam. A knife sliced into its head. Adam looked up and saw Ev pull the throwing knife out of the sicko's head. Ev looked at Jakob
"Sicko"! Yelled Ev
Jakob turned around and saw a sicko try to grab him. Jakob turned and blew it's brains out. Bob got loose from Eddy and started fighting him. Ev sliced down two more sickos as they came onto the road. Jakob fired the last of his bullets at them. He ended up killing five of them. Ev looked around and saw all the noise had attracted three dozens of sickos. Jakob's shots had been the echoing shots.
