Bob drove down the road in the direction of the air force base. Jakob sat in the back with Ted in the passenger seat. They all had a little adrenaline running through them, not knowing what they would find. Jakob looked out his window and watched buildings and hills pass by and then occasionally a sicko or two. Bob pulled around the corner onto the road leading to the air force base. He went over the the old railroad that went through the road. He wouldn't have to wait for a train to go by anymore. Bob wondered to himself if he would ever have to do anything normal like that again. The road curved around and around, going through trees. The guard post was visible now. From the looks of it there was no one in the post. They slowly approached the guard post. The guard was pulled down over the road, blocking it. Ted looked around in confusion, there was dead sickos laying all around the guard post. Each one of them had a bullet hole in their head. Before Ted could say anything a man came out from the post. He was wearing a air force uniform. He held up one hand to tell them to stop. He bore a rifle in his other hand. Bob stopped the car. The man approached the car's window and had them open it.
"What are you doing here "? Asked the man
"We were looking for somewhere safe to stay at" said Bob
The man was about to say something but stopped and held a finger to his ear.
"Here sir" the man said
Bob listened closely
"A car with three people sir" continued the man
As the man continued talking another man came out the post. He also carried a rifle with him. He walked over and stood on the other side of the car.
"They don't look sick sir" said the man
Jakob watched both of them closely.
"Sir they don't look dangerous, they're pretty rough'd up from the looks" continued the man
"We've been fighting the sickos" said Bob
"You mean the flesh eaters" ? said the second man
"Whatever you call them" said Bob
"They're not threatening us sir" said the first man
Bob looked over at the first man. The man sighed.
He raised his gun at Bob.
"Sir please exit the vehicle " said the man
Bob slowly got out of the car, followed by the other two. The second man went around and grabbed their weapons.
"What is this "? Asked Jakob angrily
"I'm sorry but...we can't let you in..." said the first man
The second man backed them against the car.
"And...we can't let you leave..." continued the first man
"So you're gonna kill us" said Ted
"I'm sorry..." said the first man
"Pfft" said Jakob even more angrily
Jakob noticed that his axe was in grasping distance.
"Let us go" said Jakob
"Or what"? Said the second man
"Or I'll be the last face you see" said Jakob
"Ooo soo scary" said the second man sarcastically
Ted looked at Bob and nodded, Bob nodded back. Ted shot up and grabbed the first man by the gun. With the man's guard down Bob got up and knocked him to the ground. Jakob smirked and then ran into the second man. Bob took the gun from the first man and aimed it at him.
"Please..." pleaded the man
"You didn't show us any mercy" said Bob then he pulled the triggered
BLAM
The second man tried to crawl away from Jakob but was caught by him. Jakob wrestled the gun from him and bashed him with it. Bob looked over by the guard post, more guards had come.
BLAM
Bob looked over at Jakob, the gun barrel had smoke coming out of it.
"This GD 3 they have shot GD 1 and 2" said one of the incoming guards
Gunfire erupted and Bob ran into the car and started it. Jakob ended up returning fire to the guards. He hit one in the chest and one in the leg. Ted had jumped back in the car with the weapons. As the car backed away Jakob jumped in. Two guards came out to where they were. They went to open the car doors but one was attacked from behind by a sicko. More sickos came out into view and attacked the other man. Bob reversed the car and drove away. Jakob looked back and saw sickos swarming the base. They had just caused the death of the last known location with government power.
