[Last we saw, Mark popped the fact that he was going to keep Paige if everything went according to plan. The female was overjoyed and that is where we pick up the story.]

Paige softly let go of Mark once she finished hugging him, crawling out of the chair and hugging Ladia as well. "Oh- I see, Jackaboy doesn't get a hug!" The Irish male chuckled and watched as the female softly approached before hugging his crouching figure softly. She was bold from how overjoyed she felt, and even though she felt slightly cautious around Sean, she wouldn't let that ruin the news. "Well, guess that means I can't procrastinate anymore. I'll work on the guest room tomorrow and get it in living condition." Ladia giggled playfully and Sean rested his chin on the desk sticking his tongue out and blowing a raspberry, making Mark laugh deeply and the Irishman chuckle lightly.

Ladia simply rolled her eyes and stood stretching and arching her back; without thinking Paige looked to Mark who was quietly watching Ladia, and finally she realized something. Were they, married? He looked at Mark's hand, no ring. Boyfriend and girlfriend maybe- no, best friends perhaps? Jumping to conclusions was rude even if she did have the evidence to back it up.

Paige found herself giggling and Mark shifted his gaze to her confused, "What?" The little girl straightened up as Ladia looked down and blinked Sean feeling awkward and watching the blank computer screen. "Nothing, sir." She could feel her face heat up in embarrassment, eyes training their stare on the floor to avoid eye contact. "Please Paige, if you start calling me sir I'll feel like an old man. It's Mark." He grinned as the child nodded.

"Hey Paige, watch this." Ladia whispered before looking up innocently, "Sean? Could you pretty please grab my camera." It was above the desk and Ladia knew Sean was much to creative to stand. He reached his hand up to see if he could get it without standing and Ladia launched her hand forward making Paige freeze, was she going to hit him? The maroon haired female dug her fingers into the green haired male's side, and he...

He broke out in laughter, which quickly spread to Mark as Sean attempted to stop the attack of tickles. Ladia had him pinned with one hand placed on his chest to push him into the floor, his back pressed against the carpeted floor as she continued the relentless attack. His hands clutching her wrist that was pinning him as he boomed with laughter and kicked his feet slightly.

Paige felt her lips curl upwards in a smile, and she giggled once going silent when the adult female looked back at her. "Wanna try? I'll hold him down!" She was smirking deviously showing her sharpened pearly white teeth- she went through a phase where she would rub a nail file against her teeth to sharpen them. "Please no! Paige, c'mon, help a guy out." Tears we're forming in the corners of his eyes from laughing so hard.

The female frowned, it looked so familiar. "No thanks. I think you've tickled him enough, right?" Ladia could sense how uncomfortable the child had become. Perhaps, a resurfaced memory. "Yeah, I don't want him to laugh to hard." She forced a chuckle and stood up reaching a hand out to help Sean up who was scowling playfully.

"Hey, I'm in the mood for a buffet, mind if I take you guys out? My treat!" Mark offered as he crouched and smiled at Paige who hesitated before nodding, "Alright. If you're sure." He nodded and grinned motioning for her to follow him as he stood. He had plans to take her shopping after dinner and drag Ladia and Sean along, who right now were clueless.

"Hell yeah! Free food!" Paige seemed surprised as the voice of Ladia sounded before being muffled by the door of her room, Sean grabbing his bag and tossing it by the couch. That was where he slept whenever he stayed at his friend's house, his friend being Mark who in one of his videos he referred to as a "grade A douche".

"You know, I couldn't find anything that would make me look as fabulous as you

"You know, I couldn't find anything that would make me look as fabulous as you." Mark turned and looked over the outfit Ladia chose smirking, "It's to be expected. But close enough." The male was messing around, from the way Ladia playfully punched his shoulder Paige could tell.

"You're both hot, can we go eat now?" Ladia let out a snort of amusement and rolled her eyes before nodding softly and smirking, "I'm driving." She snatched the keys from Mark's hand running off in her mint green heels making him blink in confusion.

"Hey! You can't drive in heels!"

"Watch me!" Distant laughter echoed through the house as they exited, and even a squeak that signalled Ladia had been caught, a smile forming on Paige's face. "I really am sorry." The accented voice made the child divert her attention from the open front door. "But... Mark's my friend, if he likes ya, it means he sees 'sumthin' in ya." His heavy accent made his words a bit off, but understandable none the less.

"I'm sorry about how I reacted... I couldn't help it, really. But, Mark saved me, I owe him so much."

"IF I know Mark, he doesn't expect anythin' in return." He motioned to the door and the girl softly walked out without looking back, seeing that Mark was hugging Ladia she paused, and when he released her they both continued Sean grinning behind her.

"Hey Mark?~" Ladia spoke in a sing song voice before holding up the keys making Mark blink in surprise, "Still driving. Besides, you need someone who will stay sober." The male stuck out his tongue running a hand through his dyed red hair, before speaking. "Sean! You're sitting in the back with Paige, and I expect to hear bonding!" He puffed out his cheeks in a pout.

Sean rolled his eyes, "Alright! Ya don't have to pull that face." The green haired male opened the door letting Paige climb in the middle and buckle up, before he sat beside her and strapped himself in- shutting the door firmly.

Progress.

Maybe she wouldn't have to worry after all.
