After lunch everyone went outside to mess around, Mark deciding for them that they needed some sun. Ladia didn't object, she trusted Mark not to put too much strain on his body so that it could heal. Mark took a deep breath in, letting the heat hit his skin as he stood by the pool. "I'm going to Hell for this." Ladia muttered before sprinting towards Mark and tackling him into the pool with a cheer.
They resurfaced with Mark sputtering and grinning his clothes heavy since they were now drenched, "You said you wanted me to heal!" The woman shrugged as she wiped her closed eyes. "YOU said that you needed to get back to your normal schedule." Something felt off and the girl opened her eyes, but her vision was fuzzy and she couldn't see anything but outlines. "Fuck. Mark help." Paige was giggling from Sean's jokes, so neither noticed the distraught in Ladia's voice.
Mark softly walked through the water as he noticed she had froze and spoke with a panicked voice, "You okay?" The male whispered as he grabbed her hand making her relax. "No. I think the force of the water knocked out my damn contacts." Her voice was lowered and Mark quickly pulled himself out of the pool. Kneeling and pulling her out of the water, "Do you have glasses?" The female thought about it. A groan escaping her lips as she spoke, "Somewhere in my room."
Mark knew why she sounded annoyed, that meant he would have to look through her room to find them. He wiped the water off of his glasses putting them on her face and watching her, "Mark. Is your goal to make me more blind? Because you literally look like an alien blob with these on." She gently reached her hand up to removed the glasses, thrusting them forward, in what she hoped was his general direction. He took them from her hand sighing softly, "Come on nerd. Sean, keep an eye on Paige, I have to find this dorks glasses." He motioned to the female who huffed and let Mark grab her wrist softly, to lead her to her room.
He knew that she hated her prescription glasses, and even though he thought they were cute she changed to contacts when they started meeting up more. "You remember that they're-" "Purple. I know." Mark had cut her off since he knew the answer and Ladia went quiet in amusement that he rembered. They were similar to the ones she wore in high school when they first became friends.
She felt herself being directed to sit, and trusting Mark she did, feeling the soft mattress of her bed beneath her. "Do you have any idea where they'd be?" The voice startled her when it broke the comfortable silence between them. The female shrugged and closed her eyes rubbing them, she didn't mind not being able to see anything clearly. It gave her time to simply foret about the world around her, the only thing that mattered was Mark's voice. After a few minutes a creak echoed through the air and something was slid onto her face, blinking the woman looked up seeing Mark smile lightly.
"You know you're the goofiest man alive." He grinned and hugged her softly. "Of course." Everything was calm. Then, there was a scream, but it was Sean's. Ladia jumped up and ran out with Mark behind her, both sprinting to make sure the Irish male was okay.
He wasn't, but for different reasons than you would guess. Paige was chasing after him playfully attempting to tickle him as Sean ran away screaming in playful terror, Paige was actually lightening up.
Turns out, while Mark and Ladia were inside Sean had suggested they play tag and Paige agreed quietly. But after they had been playing for a bit, Paige tagged Sean on his right side. Causing him to spasm slightly and burst into giggles, the sound making Paige overjoyed and causing a chase to make him laugh more break out. Paige wouldn't stop Ladia next time she tickled someone, it was enjoyable.
Ladia looked to Mark, he was grinning like an idiot and Ladia found herself huffing. "Can I see your phone Mark?" He placed it I her hand, "Sure-" Both Paige and Sean paused to look over as a second splash filled the air. Ladia didn't want his phone to break, Mark resurfaced once more spitting out pool water and glancing over to the woman with a pout. "You little minx." It was amusing still, and when he pulled himself out he was immediately greeted by booming laughter from the two child like people playing in the yard. Granted one of them WAS a child, but the other was just hilariously immature.
"Hey Marky? Mind coming on my channel tomorrow, I wanted to do a challenge but it needs two people."
"Do I still have to-"
"Yes Mark, it's the rules you know that." She smirked and the male felt his cheeks heat up. "But I look like a dork."
The thing about HawaiianFlyIn's channel was that she had a rule, anyone on her channel had to wear Hawaiian. So she always put Mark in this cute little get up when he came on. That wouldn't be revealed till later though.
Sean stood and picked up Paige, letting her sit with her legs on his shoulder as she clung softly to his hair. "So, is getting shoved in the pool twice enough to count as enough activity." His voice was curious and Ladia nodded before grabbing Mark's hand that was grabbing at the pool's wet edge in a futile attempt to pull himself up.
Almost slipping herself as she pulled him out and glanced to the setting sun, how long had the been out here anyway? The female rubbed under her glasses and looked at the shivering Mark, air conditioning and wet clothes didn't mix. "Go change alright? I'll put your clothes in the dryer when you're done."
"Are you two dating or-" Sean and Paige has spoke in unision and they glances at each other to giggle before looking back at the woman seriously.
Sean didn't know either?
"No you silly kids. He's my best friend, practically a brother to me!"
