[Ladia is Mark's close friendo! This was based when Matt and Ryan were still around, so I'm changing things up. Ladia will find interest in someone else, wink wink, but aside from that she's a choco muffin]

"Good ta see ya Mark!"

The voice was male, spoke with a heavy Irish accent just as Mark told her it would be. Red and green clashed as the males fell into a buddy like embrace with each laughing playfully, Paige could feel herself get more worried about the stranger. He was loud, just like her mother. But unlike her mother this male had a bright pearly white smile and small frame, the same height as Mark, maybe a few inches shorter.

As Matt walked slowly over the girl scooted closer to his leg, and even though he glanced down with a smile, he kept quiet as to not embarrass her.

"Come on in buddy!" Mark's happy voice made the little girl smile weakly, but as the green haired male entered his eyes met her own causing her to freeze. The male leaned over and jokingly nudged Ladia who's face turned a light shade of rose pink, once again sending Paige spiralling into confusion at the motion.

"Hey cutie, what's yer name?" His voice was quieter and the girl looked to his baby blue eyes curiously, "It's Paige. Sir." The male chuckled as he crouched in front of her, and as he raised his hand for a high five everything in Paige's system went rigid.

She didn't even realize she screamed, her body crumbling to the ground as vivid images of her mother slamming her hand and fist against her body. The searing pain, and if her mother was particuraly mad, the blood dripping off her mother's hand. Warm tears were streaming down her face as her mind re-enacted the experience, her trembling frame wracked with sobs and the occasional scream of, "Don't touch me!" or "Stop! It hurts, please mother!"

Sean had fallen back in surprise at the cries of absolute terror, his eyes quickly finding Mark and watching him in confusion- the other male had no answer. "Paige? Kiddo it's okay, calm down." The red haired male cooed softly as he approached her thrashing body, which soon curled into a vulnerable ball of tears.

Ladia gently moved helping Sean up and pulling him away softly, "I was jus' trying to high five the poor thing." He spoke softly as he was directed to the living room so that Ladia could explain the little girl's situation. Matt and Ryan had slowly left to give the child space, each silent and deep in thought.

That left two. Mark sitting cross legged as he pulled the screaming female into his lap, letting her slam her small fists against his chest. One hand moving to rub her back as the other carefully pet her hair down. "It's okay. They can't hurt you anymore." His deep voice made the female slowly start to calm down, fists weakly hitting his chest before slowly sliding to a stop and dropping to her sides.

That didn't make Mark stop though, he continued with his comforting words and caring motions as he rocked back and forth slightly.

"I'm so sorry... So, so, sorry." The girl whispered shakily as she looked up at the male's chocolate eyes, similar to her own. "There's no need to apologize. It wasn't your fault, Sean likes to high five people though- trust me, he had no intent to hurt you." Paige nodded softly before burying her head into his chest and going silent.

Back with Ladia, Sean was pacing anxiously, anger filling his mind. After the female had explained why the little girl was so jumpy and freaked out, he had instantly found the need to hit her "parents". It was sick- imagining someone hitting an innocent child that is, he felt like he would vomit. "So that's not yer kid then?" Sean questioned between gritted teeth, not angry at her but angry in general. "Do I look like I just had a kid?" The woman placed her hands on her hips as she watched him with a stoic expression.

Her posture relaxed as Mark walked in holding Paige's hand as she walked beside him, looking at the ground in fear Jack would be angry. The male nervously rubbed his arm as he glanced to Ladia, "I'm sorry Paige, I had no idea what happened ta ya." He lowered his  voice, and flashed her an apologetic smile.

She didn't speak, instead the girl nodded and smiled softly in return. The nod wasn't in agreement, but rather a sign of acknowledgement. To show she forgave him, and that she realized his intention was not to hurt her.

For a moment everything was silent, but a moment never lasts."Great, now we can record!" Mark chuckled lightly after high fiving Sean and picking up Paige bridal style to run to his room, leaving the Irish man to run with Ladia. He planned to introduce the female to his fans, since he would be keeping her safe from now on.

Paige had this cute little giggle, it wasn't innocent considering how much she had suffered. But it was genuine and made those around her smile as well. As her brown hair fell in her face she let out a small snort of amusement, humming as Mark set her in his lap to where she could be seen in the camera. Ladia stole the other chair and Sean kneeled between them, watching as Mark turned on the camera and sucked in a deep breath.

"Hello everybody, my name is Markiplier and today I have some lovely guests with me!" He motioned to Ladia and Sean, "The lovely HawaiianFlyIn, Ladia! Along with Jacksepticeye!" Jack waved and Ladia put a finger on her cheek cutely. "But who's this? Welcome one and all, Paige! Who we intend to adopt permanently!" The small girl froze in shock.

They wanted to keep her? Her heart began to race and as her breath hitched, she felt like throwing up. She had never felt such an intense emotion infiltrate her system, hands clinging to Mark's legs with a stunned expression.

"I think ya sent yer kid inta shell shock Mark." The green haired male poked her arm gently, and after gaining no reaction he found himself tensing. She hadn't gone into her hysterical fear mode again had she? "Cupcake? Are you okay, love."

Every sweet word was like a shot to the heart for the girl, her brown eyes beginning to water. For the first time in her life since she was what, four? She felt like she belonged. The girl brought her hands up- only for the purpose of rubbing her palms up her face to get rid of the tears.

"Anyway guys! I just wanted to get you all up to date, so, as always, I will see you guys in the next video. Buh-bye!" He clicked the camera once more as he grinned. The girl didn't speak she simply moved to turn slightly, hugging Mark close and laughing gently. "Thank you all, you won't regret this!" But they knew they wouldn't, even Sean had found himself in love with her adorable smile.

A new home, a second chance.
