The plane was awful, the man next to me slept the whole time, and every so often his drool dripped onto my left armrest. I sighed. I could've taken up Mom and Dad's offer and grown up to be a movie star, but the rebellious side of me ran off to college in New York to become a Broadway actress. I guess I have Luna to thank for covering for me. If any of the two ever wonder where I am, which is probably never, Luna'll say something like 'She's auditioning for a role in that new movie _______," which would please both of them.

I decided to take my mind off things by plugging my my earbuds into my phone, sliding down in my seat, careful to avoid the drool.

My phone vibrated in my pocket. I must have dozed off. I slid open the window, LAX. I unlocked my phone and texted Luna:

hey, can you pick me up? I'm in LA.

I sighed, as the plane's wheels touched down onto the runway. Soon enough, I was off the plane, my carry-on trailing behind. I sat on an outdoor bench waiting for Luna, soaking up in the warm, LA sun.
