Twenty minutes.

It took Luna twenty minutes to get in her car to pick me up.

Thankfully for her, I had myself occupied with my own problems.

Moments after I sat down on the bench, another man did.

I slid closer to the arm rest of the bench, so that I was almost on top of it.

Though I am practicing to become the big Broadway star in New York City like I hope to be, I can easily be discomforted by crowds and strangers.

"What? Don't you remember me?" the man asked, at first there was a silence, as I hadn't known the man was speaking to me.

"Sir, I'm sure I don't-" I started before glancing up, sure enough, the man wasn't the older man I thought he was. The face staring back at me was one of a young man, with the same recognizable blonde hair, "Tad!"

He gave a breathy laugh, "Yeah..."

"You're back in LA?" Tad Hughes was one of Dad's favorite actors, not to mention my best friend, a while ago, before he moved to wherever he had. We lost touch after he switched agencies.

"Well, I'm here, aren't I?" he said, "Anyway, if you're waiting for a ride, I could give you one."

"That would be-" I wasn't able to finish, due to the Ferrari pulling up to the curb, "Sorry, Luna finally got here."

"It's alright, Jack. Here's my number, maybe we can catch up sometime that isn't at an airport," he added, handing me a slip of paper.

I gave him a grin, before hopping into the front seat, hoping my face wasn't as flushed as I thought it was.

Because there's nothing more embarrassing than seeing your crush while blushing the whole time.
