Shambles
My head is hit,
Cracking open for the show,
With darkness rising,
And vines grabbing.
My mind has turned away
From that final streak of saving light.
The demons,
They no longer play.
They now run from the images that now blur my own eyes,
Afraid of what their host has become.
My head has split,
And my mind is breaking.
The blood that seeps through the floor boards,
Is it mine,
Or is it yours?
I can't tell anymore.
Its all the same,
My body numb,
Yet nothing was like this before,
My mind in shambles.

Night
I'll come back,
one day.
And try to save you,
That eternal night.
It swallows us all,
taking our souls into its teeth.
Mine worth so much less than yours,
Yet still I try to bargain for you.
It laughs,
And leaves me in the pool of the dark,
wanting me to stand again.
To be a vessel,
For that one eternal night.
And one day,
I will come for you.
So you can see what they have done,
How they have taken over.
How I let them,
Even when I knew,
I wasn't supposed to.

Foe or Friend?
Mangled and torn.
Scratched and worn.
Broken and alone.
Left to prone,
I look only for you.
And who, is you?
You are the light in the sun,
The darkness in the shadows.
The stars that guide me,
And the shadows that consume me,
You are my enemy,
And my friend.
But here's the question,
That causes pause.
The darkness that follows me,
Or is it the light that guides me.
Which one is trying to save me,
while the other tries to kill me?

The Dark Poems In My Head
PoetryThis is those little whispering poems that weasel their way into my wonderful brain. Don't know how this'll turn out, but, you know how it goes! Lets try something new! It is mature because some of this shit is bad! Extremely! Not sexual, but words...
