I quickly run home, jumping over roofs and buildings before the derby hat competition starts. I jump through my open balcony window just as my transformation goes away. I crash into the tea table and roll off it. I groan in pain as Plagg floats above me.

"You seriously couldn't wait until i was on my feet?" Plagg just shrugs. I get up and change in my normal attire while Plagg annoys me.

"Where's my cheese!?" i throw him a chunk and he eats it in one go, burping in the process.

"You really have no manners, do you?" he just shakes his head and quickly dives into my jacket as the bedroom door opens. Natalie walks in shocked.

"Adrien. You were here the whole time?"

"Yeah. i heard about the akumatized villain and fled." i rub the back of my neck. Great, now i sound like a wuss. She nods.

"Well, the derby hat competition is about to start. Let's go." i nod. I follow her to the limo. We drive off but i think i forgot something. I look around to see (y/n) not next to me. (y/n)! Where is she!? She ran off before the attack. Where could she be? Oh no? My heart beats faster, knowing i couldn't protect her. I look out the window to see that we already arrived at school. Natalie opens the and i get down. She walks in the school before me and Gorilla drives off, leaving me in the empty streets. Suddenly something knocks me off my feet. My back hits the floor and i groan when something on me shifts. I stop moving when the feeling beneath me sends pleasurable shivers up my spine. Ugh! What am i thinking!? I look up to see a madly blushing (y/n). I look at the position we're in and blush mad. She's straddling me, her hands on my chest mine around her waist. Her (h/l) (h/c) hair surrounding her (s/c) skin like a beautiful soft curtain. Her cheeks red, contrasting her bright (e/c) eyes. (Y/n) gasps and gets off me. She helps me up and i brush my pants. I look up to notice that she's holding her heels in one hand and lifting up the mint green dress in the other. She didn't change?

"I'm so sorry Adrien. I didn't see where i was going." (y/n) pants. Did she run all the way to school!?

"Where were you? You weren't at home?" she sweat drops.

"After the attack, i went back to the park to see that no one was there and that all the tents and equipment were gone, along with my bag. Then i ran back to your house and no one was home. So i remembered about the derby hat competition and ran back here, thinking that maybe you went to the park and grabbed my bag before you transformed back." she takes in a deep breath. I sweat drop. Ahh. Oh no. (y/n) looks at me and fumes, realising i don't have her bag. She stomps over to the school doors and i try to catch up with her.

"(y/n) i'm really sorry!"

"Ugh! I ran that much for nothing. Plus, i just really want to get out of this dress. Even if it's beautiful." we both enter the school, grabbing everyone's attention. (y/n) sweat drops. "And this is why i wanted to change." i notice that some guys from school were here and were looking at (y/n) up and down, some actually wolf whistling. I snarl at them and stand closer to her. Their eyes widen and look away. Luckily (y/n) didn't notice what was going on. She jogs up to Alya and Marinette, hugging them. I walk up to Natalie, standing next to her. Where's father? Mr. Damocles walks up, confusion on his face.

"Pardon me but, um where is Mr. Agreste?" Natalie turns her ipad around and out shown is father. I sigh. He never bothered to come to these events in person.

"I'm here."

"Ah. Uh, hello Mr. Agreste. Welcome to our school." father nods.

"Adrien, take Natalie around." we stop at Rose and Juleka's Derby hat and i'm amazed about the theme it held.

"As you can see Mr. Agreste, our students pout their heart and soul into their projects." i then show Natalie to Chloe and Sabrina's hat. I look over at Marinette's hat and see that theirs is the same. Oh no. Chloe what did you do!?

"Hello Mr. Agreste. My name is Chloe Bourgeois. You know my father, Andre Bourgeois, the mayor." i see Marinette actually fuming. I hope she can redeem herself after what Chloe did. I look over at (y/n) to see that she's hiding behind Alya. i laugh and she notices. She sticks her tongue at me. I finally lead Natalie to Marinettes hat. I see father angry and asks to look back at Chloe's hat.

"Is this a joke." Chloe gasps. "It's not fair! Marinette copied my design! Its scandalous! How could you do that!?" she glares at Marinette and has a temper tantrum. I slink over to (y/n), scaring her.

"What are you doing?" i whisper to her.

"What does it look like!?" she whisper shouts. "I'm making sure that your dad doesn't see me in this." i smirk at her, leaning close to her face.

"And why's that?" she pushes me away and crosses her arms.

"I have my reasons." (y/n) suddenly hides behind me, gripping my jacket. I chuckle. She's just so cute.

"I'm apologise for this situation Mr. Agreste, but i can prove that this derby hat is my original design."

"Go ahead." i turn to Marinette and see that she's smirking. I've never seen this side to her before.

"It's true. Everything on Marinette's derby hat is handmade. The broidery to the weaving of the band, to the stitching of the brim. And lastly, theres a special design that only the true designer knows about. Marinette signs hers." (y/n) speaks out, popping her head from behind me. She turns to Chloe, smirking. Chloe gasps and runs out of the school, Sabrina following her. Marinette looks at (y/n), shocked that she knows that.

"Very exquisite creation. You definitely have the labouring hands of a hat maker. Miss..."

"Marinette." i smile at her and her cheeks suddenly reddens.

"Congratulations on your demonstrations miss Marinette. You're the winner." Marinette thanks father and Alya claps her on the back. "Adrien and (y/n) will wear your derby hat on our next advertising campaign." Marinette smiles. I pat her hand and (y/n) smiles at Marinette.

"Awesome job Marinette. Can't wait to wear it." me and (y/n) say in unison. We look at each other and Alya and Marinette laughs. We join in. I take the hat and are about to put it on until my nose starts to feel itchy. Oh no. It's the feathers. I start sneezing and (y/n) takes it away from me

"Forgot about your allergies." (y/n) laughs and i keep sneezing.

"Gesundheit." Marinette smiles at me.

"Thanks." me and (y/n) start to walk back to the limo, (y/n) rubbing my back which actually helps. I smile weakly at her. "Thanks."

"No problem. Now i can go and have a nice long shower back home." we enter the limo and Natalie takes the derby hat, so i can stop sneezing. (y/n) slumps in her seat, her eyes drooping. She eventually falls asleep and her head falls on my shoulder. Not like i mind. I pull her into my lap, so she's comfortable. I wrap my hands around her waist, pulling her closer to me. Her head nuzzles into my chest and my cheeks instantly gets hotter. (y/n) grips my jacket and smiles. I look down at her cute sleeping form, my heart beating fast. I brush her hair away from her face and kiss her head, my eyes eventually closing. Exhaustion from the whole day finally hits me and i fall asleep, knowing (y/n) is safe in my arms
