Lucifer licked the excess blood off his lip.

"Well now, that wasn't very polite. Especially after how hospitable I've been." He glared at (F/N).

(F/N) wanted to argue to that, badly. But she knew better to keep her mouth shut. All she wanted was to be in Mark's arms right now. She held back sobs.

"Follow me and take them to the throne room," Lucifer ordered the demons, turning to walk away.

Demons firmly held (F/N), Sam, Dean, and Crowley's arms and dragged them along the corridor to the throne room. They all walked in to find the prophet woman sitting at a table drawing on a notepad.

The prophet looked up to see a frightened (F/N). She gasped.

"You found her! Brilliant! My work is done," the woman said proudly.

Lucifer glanced at her in confusion. "Your work is done? What 'work'?"

"Bringing you two together was my only mission, my lord. Things will work themselves out now." The woman nodded.

"So, this is your fault? Who the hell are you?!" (F/N) shouted at her, struggling against the restraint of the demons' grips.

"You'll be thankful later, (F/N). You'll see." The woman smiled at her.

"Okay, well I guess you're useless now. Take her back to the city, boys." Lucifer waved off the demons.

They led the woman out of the throne room to take her home.

Lucifer sat down on his throne.

"Now, what to do with you boys." He glanced at Sam, Dean, and Crowley. "I could kill you, but what fun would that be? Watching you fail is entertaining." Lucifer smirked.

Dean scoffed. "Okay, look, let's cut the crap. What are you doing, Lucifer? We all know you don't care about anyone else but your own ass, so why waste your time keeping (F/N) here? She's a person. She has a life."

Lucifer's facial expression turned serious. "That prophet, she told me something that genuinely surprised me and gained my interest. Otherwise, I couldn't care less about (F/N)."

"What did she say?" Sam asked.

"Now, that's none of your business, Sammy. You boys have nothing to do with this," Lucifer retorted.

(F/N) gritted her teeth in irritation. "You know, I don't regret punching you, now. Like Dean said, I'm a person. I have a life that you stole me from. I have a boyfriend that I love with everything in me. So what's the point of this? I could never love you. You're nothing but an evil piece of trash who does no good for the world. No wonder God exiled you from heaven." (F/N) crossed her arms, glaring at Lucifer with all the hate she had in her.

Lucifer felt something he hadn't felt in a long time. He felt hurt. Not the physical kind of hurt that makes you groan in pain and leaves a scar on your skin. The kind of hurt that keeps you up at night thinking about nothing but the internal scar that only certain words caused. His mouth fell slightly open as he gazed at (F/N).

How could a stupid, simple human girl have this effect on him? And just from a couple sentences? The thing about his father hurt, there's no question about that. But the words 'I could never love you' hit him hard. He didn't even know the girl and he felt like he needed to redeem himself. This made him feel disconcerted. He wasn't familiar with feeling like this. Being disconcerted made him angry.

"You know, usually I would kill someone before they could say half of what you said, but for my own personal reasons, I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that." Lucifer clenched his jaw. "Now, Sam, Dean, I'll give you two options. Back down and you can leave, or I can kill you. I'd go with option one, personally." Lucifer cocked his head, nodding over-exaggeratedly.

(F/N) held back more tears and turned to Sam and Dean. "It's okay. Go. I don't want anyone to die because of me. It's not worth it. I've just got to accept that I'm stuck here and there's no changing that."

Dean opened his mouth to protest. (F/N) interrupted him.

"I just have one request," she said dully. She turned to Lucifer. "Can I have them record a video of me for my boyfriend? That's all I'll ask of you."

Lucifer rolled his eyes. He felt an odd feeling in his chest. It didn't feel good. "Fine."

"Either of you have a phone?" She turned back to Sam and Dean.

"Yeah..." Sam took his phone out of his pocket. (F/N) took it from him. She unlocked it and opened the front-facing camera. She took a deep breath and pressed record.

"Mark, I don't really know where to start with this..." She bit her lip. "I just want to let you know I'm not coming home. And I don't mean just today, but I mean never. At least I don't think so... I'm not lying about this, you have to know that. I've been taken to hell because a prophet said I'm Lucifer's soulmate. I know, that sounds absolutely insane, and you might think I'm joking with you, but I wouldn't joke about something like this. You know that. I'm an Atheist. These guys," (F/N) pointed the camera to Sam, Dean, and Crowley briefly, then back to herself. "They tried to help me escape. But there's no getting out of here. Even if I did get out, the demons would just find me again. When Sam and Dean find you, I need you to trust them, please. Anyway, what I want to tell you most, is I love you, Mark... With all of my heart. I'm going to miss you... so much." (F/N) began to sob softly, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Don't spend the rest of your life looking for me. I want you to take care of yourself, and try to find someone to make you as happy as possible. It hurts so much to say this, but I hope you make someone as happy as you've made me. Just... don't forget me, please. I love you. Bye, Mark." (F/N) stopped the video recording and held back more tears.

Lucifer gazed at her with guilt. Why does he feel sorry? Seeing her in pain is hurting him. Why?

Sam and Dean frowned, empathizing with her. Sam took back his phone.

(F/N) walked over to the table with the notepad and pens. She ripped a blank page out and wrote down Mark's address. She handed the piece of paper to Dean, saying no words. She nodded at them gravely.

Lucifer cleared his throat awkwardly. "Bye, boys. The guards will show you out."

Dean and Sam said their goodbyes to a blank-faced (F/N), and left with the guards.

(F/N) walked back to the table and sat down on the chair.

She felt completely and utterly numb.
