Another three days had passed when the wife of the boss came up to me early in the morning when I had just checked in. I knew right from that moment that bad news was going to reach my ears very soon.

"Chinsang!"

I looked up at her. She was sort of the boss as well, but I still thought of her as less powerful than her husband.

"We just had a call from our other store, there are some problems over there. It looks like the delivery I gave you a few days ago hasn't arrived yet. I don't know if you did it or let Jungkook take care of it, but half of the items in there were meant to be sent to our other store."

I nodded. I knew what she was talking about, it was the first delivery I had given Jungkook.

"Yeah, I know that. Jungkook did that one. It should've been sent already, but maybe you should call Youngjae from the warehouse. He can check the article on the computer, see if it was sent."

We walked over to my desk and I searched for the paper quickly. I handed it over, but immediately noticed that there was a copy. That, of course, was totally normal if there are items in the delivery for our other store, but it should've been sent with the boxes.

"Where is Jungkook?"

"He should arrive any minute."

She nodded and dialed the number, right that moment I saw Jungkook walking up to us. I quickly grabbed the copy of the paper and walked over to him while he was still at a good distance from the boss. The boy stopped walking once he noticed me rushing up to him and eyed me weirdly.

"Jungkook", I said trying to sound sweet. "Remember this delivery?" I handed him the paper and the boy nodded. "Did you put all the boxes for our other store on a panel and put in the warehouse?"

Jungkook blinked a few times while looking at the paper. "Eh... no", he then said hesitantly.

"What did you do with the boxes?" The boy went quiet. "Jungkook?"

"I put them in the storage room..."

I took a deep breath "Oh, you're kidding...I already emptied all those boxes and put them in the rows... If people bought them then..."

"What will happen now?" Jungkook asked while we both looked at the boss on the phone a few meters away.

"On a good day or on a bad day?" I asked.

Suddenly Jungkook turned to me and grabbed my upper arms roughly, making me turn to him. The physical contact shocked me.

"Chinsang... I can't lose this job!"

His body was tense, his expression panicking and his eyes were lost. He was searching for something in mine. What was it, though? Reassurance? I felt like he was expecting something from me.

"It's okay", I said softly.

"I mean it!"

"It's okay, Jungkook. You won't lose your job. I'll make sure you won't."

The boss got off the phone and walked up to us. Jungkook quickly let go of me.

"It hasn't been sent. Youngjae is checking the panels in the warehouse to see if he can find it back."

"Don't bother", I said carefully. "I know where they are."

"Where?!" Our boss asked thrilled.

"Eh... a bit all over the place. The storage room, the store... maybe in people's houses..." I smiled weakly.

"W-What is that supposed to mean?"

"The delivery isn't in the warehouse. Jungkook did the delivery and put them in the storage room. So now they are sort of everywhere."

The boss' face changed colors. I didn't know if she was sick or angry, but I was guessing on a combination. She looked at Jungkook. I could tell the boy felt uneasy and a little scared.

Honestly, she's definitely less powerful than her husband, but she's also definitely ten times as scary as him.

I took a step in front of Jungkook protectively. "It's my fault", I said clearly. "I forgot to explain all of that to him. Don't blame him. He couldn't have known."

Now that amazingly creepy stare was of course directed to me.

"How could you be so stupid?!" she scolded.

I looked down. "I'm sorry."

"What now? Huh? Do I have to clean up everyone's mess?!"

"I'll fix it, I swear."

The boss let out a shaky breath. "I want that delivery gone by the end of the day. There will be consequences if it's not."

I sighed while she walked away and I wanted to walk over to the desk, but Jungkook grabbed my wrist and made me turn to him.

"What the hell?!" he shouted angrily.

"What? You couldn't lose your job, well you didn't. Let me go, I have work to do."

"You shouldn't have done that, Chinsang... You could lose yours."

"No, I won't. Everyone makes mistakes. I won't get fired immediately."

I wanted to pull out of his grip, but he held me more firmly when I tried and pulled me closer to him. I didn't understand that boy, but I wanted him to let me go.

"We're just students. You are too, even though you probably feel so damn special because you know everything while I know nothing, you're still just a student. Don't get too full of yourself, you're just as vulnerable as I am."

"Let me go", I said and pulled harder.

"Are you listening to me?"

"Let me go, Jungkook! I have work to do, so do you. Instead of checking out the place for god knows what purpose, do your job once in awhile."

The boy let me go and I walked over to the desk.

"Chinsang", I heard him say almost softly when I had reached it.

I turned to the boy annoyed. "What, Jungkook?!"

"You'll need this", he said and handed me the copy of the paper. I looked at him in disbelief. "The scary boss took the real sheet with her."

I took it and nodded. "Thanks", I said softly and averted my gaze.

"Can I help?"

"Just do your job properly. That would help a lot." Jungkook nodded. "Don't screw up again."

I took the paper with me while searching for the items in the store, sure enough there were items that were already bought, but I always found the right amount of boxes that I had to find. That's the good thing about having all the items double: one for in this store, one for the other. These things don't sell that easily anyway, so it was no problem. By noon the full delivery was already standing in the warehouse, ready to be send. My phone was quiet and I was at ease for at least a day.
