POV: Jimin
After Jin asked me why I was mute, I put some thought into my answer, like how exactly I wanted to phrase everything, and sent him a text, instead of going face to face with him.
Jimin: hey jin, you there?
Jin: hey, what's up
Jimin: you know how u asked why I was mute?
Jin: yea
Jimin: it's kinda complicated, but I feel like I trust u enough to tell u
Jin: aw, go ahead
Jimin: when I was younger, my dad used to drink loads, and he'd always come home drunk, and he'd always take his anger out on me and my mum
Jimin: and I never really understood why he'd shout and whack his hand down on the table... Until my mum told me one day that we're going to move... without my dad... So basically, to run away
Jin: what happened after that then?
Jimin: somehow, he found out, and he went crazy and started... beating and hitting my mum.. Until she bled and got bruised everywhere and I couldn't handle it
Jin: that's.. that's absolutely horrible omfg
Jimin: one day.. I was coming home from school when I saw police cars crowding around my house
Jin: oh god
Jimin: my mum was lying on the floor of our living room.... Dead
Jin: oh my god I'm so sorry
Jimin: after seeing her like that I couldn't bring myself to speak to my dad, or to anyone at all.. He got sent straight to prison with his hands tied behind his back and I haven't seen him since.. I don't want to ever see him again...
Jin: I'm so so sorry for asking...
Jimin: at least I'm not still with him.
