Twenty Three

POV: 3rd Person
When Jin and Jimin got to school the next day, they weren't worried about showing their love publicly. People pointed, and whispered, but they didn't care. All they needed was each other to make their lives perfect.

Namjoon and his group, however, hated Jin and Jimin now. Namjoon's face was clearly bruised from where he got kicked the evening before, and he had no way of covering it up.

"Yo Namjoon," Hoseok said. "People are looking at your bruise, you know."

"You don't think that I don't know that?" he rolled his eyes.

"Did Namjoon get beaten up? Look at his face!"

"Oh jeez, I didn't see that before... Who could've done that? It did a lot of damage to his face,"

"Pff, we can Namjoon the most popular kid in school now, but he got beaten up? Pathetic!"

"Boy, isn't he just weak!"

Namjoon tried so hard not to make eye contact with anyone, but it wasn't working.

"Namjoon! You got beaten up by a six year old or something, hmm? Ha!" a boy scoffed, looking at the bruise on his face.

"Shut up," he hissed.

"Yeah, I think you've lost your reputation as well, now," he replied.

"First Jin, and now you? God, we're so bad at picking who we want to be the school kings, because clearly, all of them are just gay and weak."

Namjoon never forgot this day: it was the day he lost his king's crown, and everyone's respect for him.
