Apocalypse Love

TAEJINKOOK

Jin pov
"JUNGKOOK!" me and Taehyung yelled as we roamed the abandoned city streets looking for the younger. I don't even know how we lost him, it all happened so fast.

Me, Tae and Jungkook were scavenging for supplies in some abandoned shops, we needed food and medical supplies. Jungkook was injured, he had fallen and cut his arm pretty bad. I just remember Tae yelling "zombies" then everything took a turn for the worse. There were so many, to many. I grabbed Tae and ran, but we couldn't find Jungkook. Now we are looking for him, and I'm praying that he didn't get taken by those undead creeps.

"Jin hyung, Jungkooks dead isn't he?" Taehyung whimpered, his eyes watery with fresh tears. My heart broke as I stared at the depressed boy trudging beside me, we have been walking for hours and I can tell Tae was exhausted. "I don't know Tae." I mumbled, deep down I think I know what happened to Jungkook, but I couldn't believe it. Me and Tae were currently walking back to our shelter, hoping that Jungkook might of ran back to the shelter. "Jin hyung..my legs hurt." Taehyung sobbed the tears silently dripping down his cheeks, sometimes I forget how young Tae and Jungkook are, especially Jungkook.

Jungkook is only 15, while Tae was 17, then there's me who was 20 and responsible for their lives.

Guilt cut at me like a knife the longer Jungkook was missing. It's all my fault, I should've been watching Jungkook and protecting him. He was injured and I left him alone! My hands balled into fists, the urge to punch myself growing stronger every second. My anger vanished when I heard a groan and the sound of something falling, oh god please don't let it be a zombie. I stopped in my tracks and turned around to find Taehyung collapsed on the road. "Taehyung!" I shrieked before  running to his side and lifting his limp body onto my lap. Bitter tears fell from my cheeks onto Taehyungs shirt as I cradled his upper body, "I don't want to loose you and Jungkook, you guys are all I have!" I cried in pain as I thought of my life without Tae and Jungkook. "Jin hyung please don't cry." Taehyung mumbled in his soothing deep voice, my eyes fluttered open and gazed down into Tae's soothing brown orbs. Taehyung smiled weakly as he gently stroked my hand with his calloused thumb, "We'll find Jungkook, I promise." I sobbed. "Don't make promises you can't keep." Tae mumbled as his smile diminished into a frown, he's right though, I'm just lying to myself. "Are you ok Tae Tae?" I asked then examined his body, he had a nice body even though he was extremely skinny. Tae nodded then attempted to stand, only for him to fall backwards into my arms. "Tae what's wrong?" I asked worriedly, "I-I'm r-really tired." Tae mumbled as he slouched more into my arms. He's so skinny, he weighs practically nothing. I sighed as I lifted Taehyung up bridal style and continued walking towards our destination, while still looking out for Jungkook.

My feet ached and were probably bleeding by the time we finally arrived at our shelter. Taehyung had fallen asleep a long time ago, so I gently lied him down on the old makeshift bed we had. "Jungkookie." I whimpered, he's gone, they took him. He died in the worst way possible and I didn't do anything to prevent it. I fell to my knees and started to cry as I thought of how much pain Jungkook must've been in. If only it was me. "JIN HYUNG!" Taehyung yelled then hid behind me, oh god, my heart stopped when I saw what caused Tae to scream. I grabbed the gun that was in my back pocket and began to slowly take it out, "Tae stay behind me." I whispered as I slowly stood up, followed by Tae. A few feet in front of us was a zombie, he had messy dark brown hair, he almost looked like Jungkook. I took out my gun and pointed it at the zombies head, he wasn't looking at me and Tae, he was staring at the ground as he shuffled towards us. I could shoot him right now, protect Tae, but I couldn't do it, that zombie looks so familiar. Tae tugged on my shirt "Jinnie what are you doing?" He whispered, I don't even know. The zombie was only a few inches away from us, and now I was positive that this was Jungkook. "Jungkookie?" I mumbled as I slowly let my gun drop to my side, the zombies head slowly rose and stared at me and Tae. Jungkook. Jungkook weakly smiled, "h-hi h-yungs." He whimpered before falling onto his knees. Taehyung lunged at Jungkook and engulfed him in a tight hug, "you're a-alive!" Tae cried. Jungkook laughed as tears fell from his eyes, he shakily wrapped his arms around Tae and hugged him tightly. My eyes widened when Tae suddenly cupped both of Jungkook's cheeks and kissed him.

What is he doing?! Jungkooks eyes widened in shock but he quickly relaxed and wrapped his arms around Tae's neck then pulled them closer. I stood there in shock as I watched the youngers passionately kiss. I didn't even know they had feelings for each other. Taehyung broke the kiss then turned towards me and smiled, my face flushed red as the youngers stared at me. Tae stood up then helped Jungkook up along with him by holding onto his arm. Jungkook and Tae sprinted towards me and engulfed me in a tight hug. I hesitated but then wrapped my arms around the boys and hugged them tighter, "I love you guys!" I sobbed. Jungkook looked up at me and smiled, his eyes were red with tears and his face was covered in dirt and cuts. My breath got caught in my throat when Jungkook suddenly pressed our lips together. His lips are so soft. I felt calloused fingers grab my chin then pull my face away from Jungkooks. I opened my eyes and smiled when I saw a pouting Tae staring at me, I gripped Tae's chin and pulled him towards me until the space between our lips vanished. I love these boys so much. "Ya no fair." Jungkook whined childishly, I broke the kiss and smiled at the two boys before pulling them closer and hugging them tightly. I placed a kiss on Jungkooks and Tae's cheek, "I love you guys."
