RING
Class is over and I get up from my seat. I rush to get out of the class and step into the hallway. I practically ran in the hallway. It's not that I want to be late to my next class, I don't give a damn about that, but I want to get out of the reach of bullies or anyone that will physically hurt me.
I pray that nobody will hit me. I pray that everything would stop. I pray, but it doesn't help at all. It never stops. I will never stop.
Once I passed a hallway, some big guys stopped me. They stood infront of me and looked at me, each with an evil grin. I tried to turn away from them but three other guys where already behind me. All the guys started to come closer to me, and I started to back up against the wall.
I knew what was coming. I couldn't stop it. Nobody could. Not the teachers, not other students. Nobody. Absolutely nobody.
One of the guys pushed me, hard enough to knock me to the floor.
Then everybody started to punch and kick me.
They kicked me on my stomach, my legs, everything. The only thing I managed to protect was my face. I don't want teachers to pity me, even though they act as if I was invisible.
Once the guys stopped, they called me names before turning away and heading towards their next class.
When the hallway was clear I tried to get up, but failed miserably.
"Fuck." I cursed at myself.
I layed there, pathetically, curled up into a ball.
I felt a hand on my back, it made me flinch. I closed my eyes and put my hands over my face, preparing to get beaten again.
"I'm not going to hurt you." A voice said.
What?
I take my hands out of my face to see who the voice belonged to, it was the guy who bumped into me in the parking lot. He was kneeling beside me, watching me carefully.
I attempted to get up again and he grabbed me by my waist and he put my arm around the back of his neck.
"You don't look alright. I'm going to take you to the nurse's." Harold says. I think that's his name, I really don't pay attention to people.
"No. I'm fine. I'll be fine." I say.
After I'm sure that I could walk, I let go of him.
"Th-thanks." I mutter and turn to walk to my class.
I leave him standing there and once I'm out of that hallway I decide to skip my next class. I need some time alone and honestly, I don't feel like staying in a classroom with a bunch of kids who hate me and a lonely ass teacher who talks about her miserable life and give no fucks about me or anybody else in the room.
I head to the bathroom And stay there for the next hour.
After I check that no one is in the bathroom with me, I lift up my shirt to check how bad my bruises are, and sure enough there where purple bruises covering my stomach and sides.
I roll my eyes and pace around the bathroom. Once class was almost done, I went to my locker to put away my stuff. I hurried to my last class of the day, History.
I managed to enter class without having an unexpected meeting with the floor.
I walk to the end of the classroom, and plop down an empty seat. There was another empty seat beside me but I doubt anyone is going to want to sit next to me. Who would want to anyway?
The bell was about to ring when in came stumbling Harold. I smile to myself because he looked like he was being chased by hungry lions.
My smile fades when I see him coming towards me.
Oh no. Is he sitting next to me?
Yes he is.
He takes the empty seat next to me and shoots me a bright smile.
I gave him a small smile in return and turn away from him.
