Chapter 18

|Harry|

"Get in loser." someone yells from inside the car.

It was Louis.

I was surprised since I wasn't counting on him coming for me since what happened yesterday.

I hesitantly get inside of the car.

I looked at Louis to see if there was any sign of regret or disappointment but there was nothing.

Just him focusing on the road.

The whole car ride was spent in silence. It was driving me crazy.

We reached the school and still not a single sound.

We got off the car and started walking to school.

At this point I was eager for a word from him, at least a sound.

I couldn't take it anymore.

"Please say something? Anything!" I say.

My question must have thrown him off guard because he came to a complete stop.

"Well what do you want me to say, Harry?" he asks.

We continue walking.

"Anything." I repeat.

"Harry, this just doesn't happen! what happened yesterday, it just wasn't suppose to happen." he says in a soft voice.

"I know things like this don't happen but it was just a kiss. We didn't commit a bloody crime!" I say

"I know we didn't Harry, but it just doesn't feel right. You kissed me and I kissed back." he says

"I know. I just got a little carried away. You were just saying all those wonderful things and it happened." I look down a the floor.

"Well, it can't happen.." he doesn't get to finish his sentence.

"Hey, ugly!" a guy's voice yells, causing Louis to halt. I look up.

Panic ran over his blue eyes.

The guy comes over and shoves Louis to the ground.

I immediately, step in between the jerk and Louis.

I'm not going to let Louis get hurt.

Not anymore.

"What do you think you're doing?" he frowns.

"I'm not going to let you hurt my friend." I growl.

I'm normally not a violent but I would do anything to keep my friends and family safe.

A circle of people started to form around us. Seriously, don't these people have anything else going on in their life?

"You chose the wrong person to befriend." he laughs.

"No, you chose the wrong person to bully." I say "So fuck off."

His eyes widen and he swung his arm to punch me.

I doge his attack and swing at him, my fist connects with his jaw, making him fall to the ground.

His eyes are wide as if he couldn't believe what just happened and the corner of his lip was bleeding.

I walk up to him and he covers his face.

"Don't do anything to Louis ever again." I warn

"I-I got it. I-I wont do anything to him ever again." he stutters

I turn around and I can hear him getting up and running the opposite way.

Wow so much for tough guy.

Louis was still on the ground and his eyes wide opened.

I offer my hand and he takes it. I help him up and he smiles.

"Damn, Harry. I didn't know you knew how to fight, let alone I didn't know you cursed." He laughs.

I laugh.

"It was nothing." I say.

"You seem pretty intimidating. If I were him I would've pissed myself." He laughs. Such a beautiful sound. "Thank you Harry. Thank you for being here for me."

"That's what friends are for." I give him a smile.

Only friends.
