MARIA'S DOLLS

There's something about a good scary book that makes you jump out of your seat while you're reading.  Something about the thrill you feel when you have been really frightened. If you're like me, who enjoys getting frightened, I have a marvelous story for you.

Maria's Dolls It was the year......

Somewhere in Oklahoma lived a young girl who went by the name Maria.  Maria lived with a grandmother and her Uncle Frank. In a three bedroom house.   If she had time, she would just sit in her room and talk to her dolls. Her two guardians didn't want her around, her presence made them sick, sick of envy of course. It was the beginning of the summer, two days left of school, then summer break.   

Maria was hoping to leave the nearest town to find a part-time job. There was still a couple of days left of school. It was Saturday,  it was time for her to serve her so call hating family.  You see Maria was poor, so poor that she had one of everything, except shoes, she had a pair. She thought that if she finds a job, she maybe be able to buy herself some clothes for school. She was so tired of the girls teasing her about her reruns. So it begins,

It was a beautiful bright sunny day and the weekend went by quickly.  Maria was up and ready to go look for a job. She walks downstairs and enters the kitchen.   "Good morning Grandmom, "said Maria,  "What's so good about it, you should have been down here an hour ago!" yelled Grand-mom, Mrs. Growso.  "Sorry I was washing my hair, I didn't notice the time. I'll have breakfast for you within a couple of minutes. "said, Maria as she enters the kitchen and started on making the breakfast. "I want eggs and bacon, I'll be sitting outside on the porch," said Grandmom as she got up and walked outside to the porch.

When you're done bring it to me." she continued as she closed the door behind her.  "That's fine grand-mom, I'll take it to you when it's done." replied Maria "Oh grand-mom, I needed to ask you something, " said Maria "What the hell do you want now!" yelled grand-mom "Never mind, it's not that important. We can talk later. "replied Maria, for now, she was a little afraid to ask her. So Maria proceeded to make breakfast. 

She thought to herself, "How can I ask her if I look for a summer job when everything I say bothers her. She might even smack me for just thinking about it. But I must ask her, with a job I can buy myself new clothes and hopefully next year, it'll be different and I won't get a tease." Maria continues to make breakfast, then someone knocked on the back door. "Knock, knock" "Come in, the door is open," said Maria      Her Uncle Frank walked in "Hey where's my mother?" "If you would have come to throw the front door, you would 'have seen her on the porch," replied Maria 

"Excuse me smart ass!" said Frank as he walked to the front door. He whispered to himself, "stuck up bitch, I have something for you, You're going to make my mother and I make plenty of money."     He reached his mother, "Hey mom!" said Frank as he opens the door then gives her a kiss on the cheek. "About time you get here. So did you do what I ask you to do?" asked Grand-mom

"Mama Dearest, we have done even better. I've found one man who wants her for one month willing to pay 20  grand.  I have another who is willing to pay 5 grand for the following month. That will hold us over until I find another buyer." explained Frank "Did you explain that this is only for that month they rented her for and then she comes back with us. If she doesn't go to school the law will know what we're up to. "asked Grand-mom "Yes I did, and they're fine with it." said Frank "How much did you say again?" asked grand-mom "Well cause she a virgin the first man is willing to pay 20 grand, and the second one is willing to pay 5 grand, both are for a month. "explained Frank 

"Good, great, you can keep the 5 grand and the twenty grand belongs to me. Wow,  25 grand in two months, you did good son, you did real good." explain grand-mom "Why do I only get five, I'm doing all the work. I think we should both get half." yelled Frank "Boy if you don't shut the fuck up, I'm going to give you half, the OJ way. You get 4 grand as I said." yelled grand-mom "Hey, early you said that I get 5 grand, now is 4?" asked Frank "If you say anything else about it, I'll keep reducing it. "said grand-mom
