Clark didn't take any chances, he sat on top of Frank's stomach, while he was on the lookout.    There was no way he was going anywhere.

The next morning,  Maria woke up and notice that Baby was in a different position.  "Good morning little one, I somehow feel that you were standing, not laying with your butty up in the air.  I guess when you're ready, I'll find out what's really going on?" she said to Baby.   Then she placed him on the dresses.  Got ready for school.    When she walked into the bathroom,  Baby stood up and stretch his tiny body.    He somewhat forgot that he should not change position.   That was showing a sign of life.

Everyone was waiting for Maria to leave her bedroom.  They were hungry.   Chunky was also ready to go on watch.   When Maria came out of the bathroom, she noticed that Baby change his position again.   She just smiled and headed downstairs, without saying a word.   The moment she stepped out, they all started to move.  Herma went into the closet and started handing every doll something to eat.   Chunky quickly headed down the rope, with enough food for Clark and himself.

Chunky went to wake up Clark, who was sleeping on Frank's stomach.   Frank eyes were open, just looking at the dolls talk to each other.  "Hey Clark,  wake up Dude." said Chunky    "Oh, I've fallen asleep," said Clark as he wipes the spit off his mouth.  He sat up and grabbed the small sandwich that Chunky gave him.  He started to eat while sitting on Frank's stomach who was growling so loud.  Clark was enjoying the weird feeling.   "I think this chicken monster is hungry." said Clark    "Well that's his problem, cause I'm sure not giving him my sandwich," said Chunky as he continued to eat with no guilt.

Meanwhile, up in the house,  Maria was in the kitchen fixing breakfast.  Grandmom was also awake.  "Good morning Grandmom.  Here's your coffee," said Maria as she placed on the table in front of her.  "Do you know if Frank came home last night?" asked Grandmom  "No, I haven't seen him or hear him, so I guess he's not here." said Maria   "I really thought I heard him screaming for help. I don't know if I was dreaming or if he was really screaming. I did look out the front door, but there was no one there.  I've wonder, where he can be." said Grandmom   "Well, I'm sorry I really don't care.  I don't like the man." said Maria   "Well girly that's your problem.  I need him here.  So then you get out of school, ask around, find out if anyone has seen him.  Understand me!" said Grandmom in an angry voice.

Then grandmom thought to herself, "She has the nerves, I need Frank more than I need her here.  Wait I do need her too.  Then after I sell her, she won't be my problem anymore."    Maria just looked at her then rolled her eyes, "I see what I can do. I have to go now." she said as she walked out the door.   "If she really thinks I'm going looking for that piece of shit, she's very wrong.  I wish he never comes back." she thought   Then something  pop in her head,  "Holly shit, I forgot about my dream." she Thought as she remembered what her mother had said, "Always have one of my friends with you."    She went back into the house.
