Maria ran into the house and straight up the steps. "Hey, school is not that way." said Grandmom "I've forgotten something,"Maria screamed as she ran up the stairs. She ran into the bedroom. Her dolls were all sitting in a circle eating, but the moment she walked in they froze. "All that's so cute yall eating together, how cute is that," she said as she grabbed Baby then walked out the door. Her dolls started moving, but then Maria opened the door again and said, "I've seen all, it's all good. I'm not afraid. You can freeze all you want, I know you are all alive, so I'll see you after work." then she walked out then close the door.
"Ok, the jig is up! She has seen us. You heard what she said, she saw us. What going to happen now?" said Herma pacing back and forth. "Herma, calm down, remember she's our master, she had to know soon or later that we're alive." said Tom "Yes I know, but you don't find out something like that then, walk away to school, to work, whatever. She acted as though she didn't care that we were alive." said Herma upset "Herma listen, if she stays here, her grandmom will know somethings wrong. She needs to act normal. She'll be back to talk to us, just believe." said Tom
"Really?'asked Herma "Yes really"answer Tom "Hey Tom do you think I can take watch for a while?" asked Herma 'Why? do you want to be on watch, It misty under the house." said Tom "I just want some fresh air. And I also would like to be alone for a while."explained Herma "Well, go down the rope, Let Chunky know that you want to give him a break for a while."said Rosemary "Since no one needs me here, I'll be back in an hour or two."said Herma as she started climbing out the window.
Meanwhile, Maria ran down the steps and back out of the house, not giving grandmom the chance to ask her anything.
